"My name is no business of yours," Landria responded before leaving the scene with old man Croan.
He had decided to be rude to the young girl because she didn't control her guard to treat others nicely and he never liked these kinds of people.
-----
Close to Sunset, Landria was already on his way back to Riverbeak town.
He had managed to acquire all three items and now, ten materials out of all twelve needed to create the mana reactor tool were in place.
The last one which happened to be the special moss that was extremely rare still couldn't be found in Barbaois City even though he and old man Croan moved about the city, searching for up to seven hours.
Even those who knew about it also confirmed that it was indeed rare. Only one of the traders who dealt with materials like that mentioned that he might be able to get some but it would take months.
Landria was not ready to wait for months just to create a mana reactor tool. He needed to increase his magic cultivation level as soon as possible and gather enough money if he was going to leave this town and embark on his journey of vengeance.
The only problem now was how he was going to acquire the last required item and at the moment he couldn't wrap his head around what to do.
Landria decided he was still going to scour the forests for them later on. Although the traders who dealt with these kinds of plants had stated that it doesn't grow anywhere around here, he decided he was still going to take a shot at looking for it himself.
He would either have to wait for months or hope for a miracle to happen so he could find the desired plant in one of the forests.
He decided his search would not be limited to Velves forest alone, he would also check The Fhadiline Magical forest.
The Fhadiline Magical forest was within Barbaois City and unlike the Velves forest which had areas with very weak beasts who couldn't use mana, Fhadiline forest was crawling with many magical beasts and Creatures alike that were capable of destroying squad of hunters in Riverbeak town within seconds.
All of the hunters in Barbaois City were capable of using magic and had much better hunting weapons compared to those in Riverbeak town so it was relatively easier for squads of their caliber to hunt within the forest.
Landria had decided he would check Fhadiline forest out if he scoured Velves forest and couldn't find the item he needed.

"That's right, chaos magic is full of destructiveness. Mages with an affinity for chaos magic are usually adventurers or leaders of war troops, they are always the most destructive force in any army so long as they had cultivated their magic to a high level," Landria voiced out to Lyra who stood in front and listened.
It was currently nightfall and as expected Lyra was waiting for Landria when he returned. They were presently in the middle of a safe zone area within Velves forest.
"So, fire and lightning spells are categorized under Chaos magic right?" Lyra asked.
"Yes, both are the most used type of spells by not only chaos mages but other mages as well but a mage with a Chaos mama core would be able to make spells related to flames and lightning way more effective and use them in various magical forms," Landria explained.
"There are still many other spells of pure destruction besides Fire and lightning, like conjuring up a black hole that consumes everything but I can only teach you what I know," Landria stated with a tone that hinted some of these spells were out of his capacity.
"Okay okay, what do we start with?" Lyra seemed to be getting even more excited after hearing Landria give explanations on chaos magic.
"First, let's see if you can conjure flames without chanting a spell," Landria said before he started explaining the process of converting the mana in her core to the energy needed for channeling of flames.
Before a mage could start learning how to chant the words for a particular type of spell, they had to be able to conjure that particular spell element using the mana in their core first.
Then the next process would be learning the variety of spells for that type of magic.
Landria plan was to teach her how to feel these types of magical elements first and fortunately Lyra was able to catch on very quickly.
-----
Days went by in the blink of an eye and Landria had spent all this time hunting, looking for Phirhiar purple moss, and teaching Lyra flame magic.
He had managed to get the Fosser feces during this time so, at the moment, eleven out of the twelve needed materials to create the mana reactor tool had been gathered.
Landria had infiltrated deeper into the Velves forest today to check around for the Phirhiar purple moss.
He aimed to look at areas with plants, he didn't have any plans of battling or hunting any magical creature so he didn't care about where the limits of infiltration lay.
He decided he would avoid coming into contact with all walking life forms around here. Instead he would just scour the forest region for the last item.
Landria was in deep for over three hours moving around stealthily but quickly. Unfortunately, he was suddenly spotted by a magical creature, way more powerful than any of the ones he had been facing so far.
Landria knew he would have to go all out if he wanted to kill this creature so he decided to run instead. He wasn't looking to dry up his mana core and spend weeks trying to fill it up once more even though the mana concentration here was higher.
Grrrrhhhhhh~
The loud and powerful growls of the creature chasing from behind reverberated across the forest as the ground quaked from the intensity and the trees bent back a little.
"Wind wings level seven," Landria voiced out causing small wings made of wings to appear on the sides of his arms, thighs, and legs before lastly appearing on the sides of his feet as always.
Landria's movement speed increased as he sped across a land teeming with dried trees, void of branches and leaves.
Fwwwhiii~
A long thorny vine cut across the air with intensity and landed on the ground behind him.
Bang!
Krrrhyycch~
Landria had managed to outrun getting hit by it but the moment it made contact with the ground, cracks appeared all over as the grounds split open in a kind of straight line.
Thwwiii~
Landria leaped towards the side of a tree before the land which was splitting open from behind could send him flying from the impact.
He kicked the side of the tree he leaped towards earlier using the force to send himself flying towards the next tree up ahead by the left and then doing the same thing to arrive at the next one by the right.
Zwwwhiiii~ Zwwhiii~ Zwwhii~
His figure was speeding forward in a zig-zag fashion, blasting from tree to tree across the vicinity.
After a few more minutes, he had managed to completely outrun the creature, causing it to turn back but then Landria was still deep in the forest beyond his usual hunting spot.
The mana concentration in the environment was pretty high too. Landria activated a spell that caused him to sense everything within a radius of more than one kilometer.
He finally heaved a sigh of relief after noticing there was no creature around here.
There was a river not too far from his particular standpoint and a big piece of rock positioned towards his left. Landria walked towards it and wanted to sit on it when he noticed something.
There was a very small space on the ground just in front of the rock. The space was very tiny but for some reason, Landria was intrigued.
"Muscle Enhancement level two," He voiced out while activating this spell.
His body glowed up and turned muscular. Landria proceeded to push this big mass of rock away and what was revealed was a strange-looking man-sized hole on the ground.
