"Mom!... How are you feeling?... Do you feel pain anywhere?... Should I take you to the hospital?... Do you need something?… Anything?" Kayla Smith slept beside her mother, with her head placed on the bed. Noticing her being conscious, she grabbed her mother's hand and observed her face for a while, thanking her stars that nothing disastrous happened to her. She really gave Kayla a scare when she first laid eyes on her.
There was no telling what Kayla Smith felt the previous night. Initially, she was occasionally dissuaded by Robin, as she intended to go after Adriana and Boris. She just couldn't sit still and keep imagining everything that was going on.
The two only spent close to ten minutes in the uncompleted building, but Kayla felt the time was so long that she opted to follow the two and find out what the delay was all about. It was as though they had agreed on a meet-up time earlier.
