Meredith's POV
I awoke to a breathtaking sight - a magnificent flower arrangement stretching from the hallway all the way into the living room. I couldn't help but wonder how much effort Matthew must have put into this display. Although I had teased him, I never would have guessed that he would go to such lengths just to please me.
Despite feeling ecstatic and overjoyed, my mind couldn't help but nag me with doubts about my decision. But for once in my life, I allowed myself to be taken care of by a man and felt that I truly deserved it. I wasn't looking for perfection in him - I loved him with all his flaws and was willing to weather any storm that the future might bring.
