Meredith's POV
I must confess that I was initially apprehensive, but that feeling has since dissipated. Fear no longer grips me. The prospect of love once made me feel vulnerable, but now I embrace it, relishing every moment it brings. Even its eventual departure will not surprise me.
I am grateful for the opportunity to experience these wonderful moments with him. It is truly amazing and magical- almost like being transported to heaven. Whether it lasts for mere minutes, days, weeks, months, or even a year, I intend to savour every second of it. Who knows? It may even surprise me and last a lifetime.
I recall the wise words, "When a drop of water falls into a river, it has no identity, but when it falls on the leaves of a lotus, it shines like a pearl." I am grateful to be in the best place for me to shine and become stronger than I ever thought possible.
