Meredith finally musters courage and shreds the envelope open and reads it, Matthew stands close by to find out what the letter is about, Meredith holds back her tears as she reads the content of the letter.
she sniffs and folds the letter back into the crumbled envelope while Matthew stares at her to say something.
"Well then?" Matthew finally let out when he realized she wasn't making an attempt to speak, "It noting just some report I was expecting. You are right it was just a letter, I need to make a call," Meredith whimpered as she excused herself.
