The vice president addressed her, acknowledging that despite the scandal being baseless, it had still tarnished the image of de la Victoria.
"We thank serious pride in the image of the company. we have zero tolerance for scandals," Meredith held her breath anxiously, dreading the worst, but the vice president went on to say,
"We had decided to uphold your promotion and appoint you as the interim head of the department until the scandal subsided. You can apply after that." Meredith felt a wave of relief wash over her as she realized she still had a job and was still going to be in charge of the design department.
