We're no longer a thing and I can't understand why he doesn't get that. Well, I do, but it's not something I'll accept anymore. The old Mia is dead. She doesn't exist anymore. "If you think I'll share a bed with you, Garrett, you're dead wrong." I keep my tone even. I don't want this to turn into a nasty argument. But my words were firm. I want to get the message across.
He grabs me from behind and rests his hands on my belly. I don't fight him, in a way I don't have the strength to. I deflate. "Of course you will, Mia.
