"You have fallen in love with me?"
Nicholas's eyes widened with surprise as he asked Becca. He was blown away and totally lost for words when he heard what she said. When she said she wanted to tell him a secret, he thought she wanted to share some kind of female gossip with him. He wasn't expecting a love confession.
Now how would he reply to her? He thought to himself. There's no doubt in his mind that he liked her. In fact, he liked her a lot but love?... Nah?
Looking down at her smiling face with the love for him that was shining through. Nicholas was convinced that she was telling the truth. She indeed loves him but what about him? He wasn't sure if what he felt for her was half as much as the love he was seeing in her eyes
