When Amani walked back into the room, she saw Leonardo had already woken up, looking at her as if she'd committed some kind of crime against him
"Hey, baby..." She said with a smile but his face wasn't smiling back at her. Amani recognized that look on his face, it was his hard, cold look which was how she usually know whenever he was angry
"Where were you?" He asked her curtly and Amani's smile faltered
"I stepped out not quite long ago to make a phone call. What's the matter? Are you okay? Do you need me to get something for you? Are you feeling any discomfort anywhere?" Amani rapidly asked as she immediately hurried to his bed
"Yes! I need to use the bathroom and my girlfriend that was supposed to help me get to the bathroom was nowhere to be found! How's that for not being okay?" He replied stiffly
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry." She apologized. Now she understands his anger and felt sorry for leaving him unattended.
