Amani knew she promised Leonardo she would call him immediately after she finished her interview with Elsa. She didn't call him when she left Elsa's room at the hotel because she was in a very bad mood. She was supposed to call him as soon as she arrived home but she didn't because she was still in a bad mood and might take her anger out on him.
Amani didn't remember ever being that mad at anyone before in her life as she was at Lisa right then. She was even more pissed at the fact that she couldn't do anything to the bitch while she was calling her all sorts of names. Amani was scared thinking maybe Lisa and Elsa had cameras installed in the room to set her up. She didn't want to trend on the internet for the wrong reasons
