"He left without changing his clothes? But why?" Immediately after Nicholas left, Amani came out of her room to ask Becca.
"Why ask me? Shouldn't you know why? Weren't you eavesdropping just now?" Becca said, with a raised brow and a hint of a smile on her face
"Me? Eavesdropped? I-I... Why would I want to do something as, as,... Bad as that!" Amani still lied even when she knew she'd just been caught red-handed
"Yeah, I believe you. I guess it's just a coincidence that you came out of your room the moment he left. And weren't you supposed to be cleaning up? Why did you still have food fight written all over you?" Becca asked, she couldn't keep the amusement out of her voice this time
"Well it's not my fault that getting information out of you is as easy as pulling teeth" Amani grudgingly agreed she was eavesdropping without actually admitting it.
Becca who couldn't hold in her laughter anymore burst out laughing
