"What's your name?" Sebastian asked.
"My name is Mace."
Mace was a tiny girl, but she looked well trained and fit. She was the kind of girl who looked like a kitten but hurt like a lion. She wore a beanie that covered her hair, and she had a long scar that ran down the length of her shoulder down to her arm. She didn't even wear the school uniform that was supposed to be plain brown. She wore a psychedelic mix of rainbow colors swirling on her shirt and trousers with long-heeled boots.
Sebastian checked the roster for Mace's last name but he couldn't see any record. He made a mental note to check with the head of schools.
"Alright Mace, welcome to Oakstone. I'm new this year too. Would you like to say three things about yourself? And I'll do the same. Let me start."
"Hi everyone, my name is Mr. Harrison. I'll be the freshmen homeroom teacher for room A this year. I have a sibling who goes to this school. I love languages, and I have the cutest cat."
Most of the students sighed at Mr. Harrison. He was the youngest-looking handsome teacher they'd had in a while, and nobody complained about this eye candy. Floppy brown hair, towering over the students, beautiful blue eyes.
"My name is Mace, I have a sibling who attended this school. I hate languages and I hate cats." Mace said.
She finished and everyone was silent for a moment, digesting what she said.
"Thanks, Mace. Take any free seat," Mr. Harrison said.
Mace seemed to be a strange kid, Sebastian noticed her interactions with others. Sebastian worried for her. She seemed to be an antisocial student. That wouldn't be worrying usually, but she seemed to show aggression towards people who tried to get too close either in her personal space in a physical sense or even get to know her.
Mace watched everyone in the room, making sure to look bored when really she was counting everyone and evaluating their worth to her schemes. She was going to learn every piece of information about every single person in the classroom including this preppy teacher. Mace would use this information and destroy all of them with the same information later.
Mace decided to sit down next to a boy. His name was Ben.
"Hi, Mace. Good to meet you," Ben said, stretching his hand in greeting.
Mace resisted the urge to slap his hand. She merely nodded and looked into her bag, taking her things out.

Sebastian went to see the head of schools, Jenny Koi. He knocked on the door.
"Enter," Jenny said.
Sebastian asked, "Hey Jenny, the new student Mace doesn't have a last name on the record."
Jenny looked up and she said, "Oh? Right, we must have forgotten to add. Here."
Jenny was really pretty, a hundred percent Sebastian's type in terms of physical attraction. But they didn't connect on an emotional level. Sebastian sensed that the first time they met too a month ago at the staff introduction party.
Sebastian looked down at the last name, contemplating.
His brother told him about what happened the last year. He didn't know all the details but he knew here and there at least that Blue was in danger for a while because of some punk student. He knew that student's last name was McCartney.
Mace's last name was Wells.
So they probably weren't related, but Sebastian got a weird feeling about that student. He decided to talk to his brother about Mace and see if Blue knew anything.
"Sup," Blue said.
He and Magenta were eating lunch in the dining hall.
"Hey, I need to ask you something in private," Sebastian said.
Blue and Magenta followed Sebastian to his office. They thought it was super cool that now Sebastian taught at Oakstone. In their final year of Oakstone, and after the different fiascos, Oakstone had a different vibe. Many younger professionals were gravitating towards Oakstone as the older families and teachers left due to career exploration and salary. Miss Burgundy retired and Mrs. Gouges was no longer head of dorms, she was also given a reprieve and fired by the school board.
Now the principal was a man called Daniel Jun, a young married man in his thirties.
"I have a new student, her name is Mace, I want to know if you know her last name or her sibling who was here before?" Sebastian asked.
"Mace Wells." Sebastian gave the name and Magenta felt paralyzed.
"No way," Magenta said.
Blue said. "That's Spider and Gwendolyn's last name."
"Gwendolyn, the psycho chick?" Sebastian said.
"Wow, how did they allow another child of theirs to get into the school," Sebastian wondered.
"Maybe it's a coincidence?" Blue suggested.
"Best thing to do is confirm with Mace herself," Sebastian said.
"We should tell Principal Jun too if Mace says she is related to them," Magenta said.
"Sure, you can come with me." He told them
They looked for Mace but the search proved harder than they intiially thought. Mace was nowhere to be found during lunchtime. But eventually they found her in the sports hall gym.
Mace was throwing punches and doing a workout routine. Sebastian told Blue and Magenta to stay outside as it would be strange with them together.
"Mace Wells, are you related to Spider and Gwendolyn?" Sebastian asked.
Mace turned around, with a slow turn. Suddenly, the curtains closed to the gym, the lock turned and it was just the two of them.
Blue and Magenta knocked on the door, unable to see anything. When there was no response, they tried opening the door. Still nothing, so they decided to tell the principal and get help.
Principal Jun was in a meeting and his secretary told them to leave a note. Blue and Magenta pleaded for help, running up to the office.
"Something weird happened in the sports hall gym and Mr. Harrison is stuck in there and his life is in danger!"

"Hello Agent Gogh," Mace said.
Sebastian had not used that name in a while. His agent name.
"How do you-" Sebastian asked.
Mace shot a dart toward him. Sebastian flipped over, effectively protecting himself from getting hit by the dart. Mace held a tray of darts, they looked extremely pointy and poisonous.
"Hah, I knew this wouldn't be easy," Mace said, reloading her darts.
Mace would not let this teacher leave without letting him get a taste of his own medicine.
"How did you get the curtains and lock done," Sebastian asked, panting for breath.
"I'll do the asking here," Mace said.
"How does it feel to have a dead brother? An incarcerated sister? You would not know." Mace's fury unleashed and she attacked Sebastian with her full strength.
