Chapter 198: Let's get a divorce
Pepper must have dozed off because when a sound made her open her eyes, it was morning and Asher was sitting on the armchair in front of her.
She blinked severally before she fully opened her eyes. And when their eyes locked, Asher smiled at her.
"Hey"
He stood up afterwards and walked inside his closet, when he came out Pepper was standing up with her arms folded into each other.
"When did you get in?" She asked him.
Asher didn't stand still long enough to answer her immediately, instead he pulled out a duffel bag and started throwing some things in it.
"Asher" she called out to him softly.
"Sorry…I came in a few seconds ago"
Pepper nodded.
Asher stood up and stared at her.
"I think we should see a therapist"
"I think we should get a divorce"
They both said simultaneously.
Pepper blinked.
