Chapter 195: Who did you sleep with?
When Pepper woke up in the middle of the night she was gently tucked away inside the blanket with Asher. She didn't remember doing this.
She stared at the man in front of her and she opened her mouth in anger, as she fought the urge to slap the side of his head.
"Calm down, love. I didn't touch you"
His voice was calm and low. His eyes were still closed and if she didn't know any better she would say he was asleep.
"Then what am I doing in your arms, weirdo?" She asked but strangely she made no move to leave it.
Asher's eyes fluttered before opening to stare at her.
"Your pepper spray is under the pillow if you want to use it on me but before you do, you should know you climbed into the covers with me"
"Why would I do that?" She asked him.
"My conclusion is your mind forgot about me but your body very much remembers my touch"
Pepper blinked.
