CHAPTER 106: Truth or Dare
Asher sat down on the sofa while Logan dashed to the guest room to wash her face.
"Well…go on" Pepper urged him.
"Okay, where should I even start?" Asher asked no one in particular but Logan answered him from the guest room.
"How about the first day we met? We were seven and you tried to take my lunch!"
"Thanks Logan, I got it!" Asher said sarcastically.
"Go on" Pepper urged him
And Asher told her.
They have been best friends since they were in grade school and seven years old. She was tough, brilliant and not a pushover. Asher also told his wife how people used to assume they were dating or in love with each other but that couldn't be further from the truth.
