Chapter 91: Gramps and Gigi's are getting a divorce!
Asher sent the last text to Duke before he opened the car door but before he could come down, Duke called him.
Duke's voice showed she was pissed off and for good reason.
"What do you want me to do? As much as you'd like to believe that I have superpowers, I don't. Recon is not my thing and I don't know how to track Kurt down but do you know who can?"
Duke's voice rang out like a tambourine.
"Please don't say…"
"Call Logan, LT. If you want to find Kurt, call freaking Logan. This fight between the two of you has gone long enough. Call your best friend" Duke hung up.
Asher exhaled briefly before he turned around to find Pepper standing like a misplaced ghost in front of him.
"Jeez! don't do that!" Asher murmured and stepped out of the car.
"Where did you go? I came outside and you were gone" Pepper folded her arm into each other as she quizzed him about his disappearance.
