Chapter 88: Who is Judas?
Asher made it to the parking lot of Heather and Lux when he stumbled on the conversation between Kurt and Starr, so for once he pulled back and listened.
"I am sorry Demi"
"It's not your fault uncle Kurt. It's Dad's!"
"No, sweetheart. Your Dad is…a saint actually, what I did that night was irresponsible and dangerous, Demi. I could have killed you. I am sorry…I am really sorry. And I am going to do all I can to earn your father's respect. I will find my way back to you, Starr. I promise"
"I love you, uncle Kurt"
"I love you too, beautiful"
Asher watched as they hugged. He was still angry at Kurt and possibly his mother and it was going to be a long time before he would trust Kurt to be a responsible adult but he could let them have this moment.
He turned around and walked back inside to his mother and aunt.
