Chapter 83: Family
Asher didn't slow down and Mays kept trying to catch up.
"I haven't been able to reach Martha. It's the whole reason I tracked you down" Maya tried to keep up with Asher's long strides. "Will you slow down, Asher?"
Asher stopped abruptly and so did Maya to catch her breath.
"How did you find me?" Asher asked her. It was the most important question on his mind at that moment.
"Well, I work for a charity organization that specializes in finding lower class missing kids or runaways. Finding my nephew who is actually a few years older than me wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be" Maya answered.
Asher had no idea what to do with the information he was receiving but if Maya could track him down then she knows about Pepper.
"Then you know that…"
"Pepper is your wife and my big sister doesn't know about it…yeah"
Asher grabbed her hand without even thinking.
