Mariela's POV
I was startled when I heard the loud pounding of my door, and I smiled as I realized my best friend had finally come, and she was now ready to speak with me, and I knew I should apologize to her. I searched the entire house for Valerie, but I couldn't find her.
"Archer?" I asked in disbelief when I found him outside my room. I could see the irritation on his face as he looked at me, I knew he was pissed with me, and Archer didn't need to tell me why he was at my door.
And I hated myself that even if I was angry with him because of the prenuptial agreement, I couldn't stop my eyes from looking at his handsome face, and instead of looking away from him, I was gaping at him and found myself admiring his physique, and I knew that he would always be attractive.
