Chereads / Virgo Adventurer Wizard / Chapter 7 - Giant beast.

Chapter 7 - Giant beast.

The morning sun begins to rise with a reddish glow so warm, the sound of birds dominates the forest on the mysterious island where Virgo is stranded.

He also began to wake up because the sun was shining directly on his face, then he stood up excitedly, and the forest was still filled with thick fog like a sea of clouds.

Virgo can only open his eyes wide, he is very mesmerized by the sight she sees as if he is in a different world.

But as soon as he realized his purpose, he also intended to immediately jump down from the tree, intending to continue the journey as usual, no longer through the trees.

This he did of course because of many considerations, first, because the thick fog was blocking his view above the tree.

Second, the trees were still wet and the chance of slipping was very high, which was the reason why he preferred not to go through the trees.

But suddenly Virgo felt something strange inside him. "What happened?". His mind started to get restless feeling unable to jump like usual, he tried to concentrate fully.

Virgo gathers his energy and then transmits it to his legs, but he doesn't feel any energy flowing, whereas before when he did, the energy was like rushing water.

"Ah shit, I can't do it anymore, what the hell happened?". He thought and he began to worry, he was silent for a moment, then tried again, but the result was still the same, he thought the sun would rise soon, he rushed down normally.

After reaching the bottom, he felt very weak, it was because the tree was quite tall and before that he was at the end of it.

"Has my power been lost?". Virgo thought again with an annoyed expression.

But he didn't want to give up and kept trying, he ran or jumped all the time, but nothing happened.

Everything was in vain and only made him more exhausted, he unconsciously held his chest until he remembered the scar shaped like a sun symbol on his chest.

He immediately examined it, "The scar is still there, then what has changed". In a Virgo's heart that was starting to think hard, he remembered all the circumstances that had happened before.

"Is it because of the sun?" Virgo remembers being at the beach, his body feels great energy when exposed to sunlight.

"Okay, I'll give it a try". Without thinking, Virgo immediately tried to climb to the top of the big tree again, hoping to get enough sunlight.

With the remaining energy, Virgo continues to climb until they can finally see and feel the warmth of the sun.

Slowly he felt his body become more and more energized as if the sunlight was rapidly entering, and flowing into every cell of his body.

However, because the sun had not yet fully appeared, it took his body about an hour to feel full.

A few hours passed, Virgo felt full of energy, he could feel the sun's energy in every cell of his body, while the scar on his chest was now starting to glow gold, like a cool symbol.

"Okay, looks like that's enough". A relieved smile appeared on his lips, he was sure his energy was full, even the fog had faded.

"Definitely the place there, I have to hurry". Virgo said excitedly, then he tried to channel his energy and tried to jump to another tree in front of him.

"Suuust".

He also jumped perfectly, "So that's the cause". He was silent for a moment as he nodded in relief knowing the true origin of his power.

He quickly jumped to the next tree, looking around, to find some animals and fruit for his breakfast.

After moving quite a distance, he also found food and finished it quickly and immediately continued his journey at a leisurely pace without feeling the slightest worry, as if everything would go smoothly.

But after entering the forest deeper, he arrived at a small hill and felt something was watching him from behind the hill.

He immediately stopped, and sure enough, a giant eagle suddenly shot into the sky with an unusual speed and a moment later swooped down at him.

"Cliiink".

Virgo's eyes immediately glow with gold and a thin blue line crosses the center of their eyes.

His vision immediately expanded, and he could see a giant blue-winged eagle that was about 1 kilometer away flying towards him at an increasing speed.

"What is that giant creature, is it an eagle?" Virgo rubbed his eyes a few times to confirm his vision, "No way, is there really such a big eagle". Virgo muttered with wide eyes, he immediately started to panic because the giant eagle was clearly after him.

Back when he was in his hometown, he actually heard very often about wild animals and monsters, but because he had never seen it in person, he chose not to believe it and simply ignored it, thinking it was just a rumor.

But after being attacked by a monster and now that a giant eagle was after him, there was no longer any reason to doubt it.

"What should I do now, just one grip of it can instantly turn me into a piece of meat". Virgo thought with a pale face and trembling body shuddered in horror.

At the same time, about 100 to 200 meters in front of him he saw some trees that seemed to be shaking apart and made the earth tremble violently, he heard a strong sigh and the sound of trees cracking.

Even some trees fell as if swallowed by the earth, the ground began to shake making the dust begin to evaporate at the center of the earthquake.

"This is really bad". Virgo felt the big tree he was standing on was also starting to shake, and suddenly a giant black snake appeared in the middle of the dust cloud.

The giant black snake had a red horn in the middle of its head, Virgo's eyes almost jumped with surprise and fright.

He immediately hid behind a bigger tree branch in fear, "I'm definitely going to die now". Now his body began to tremble violently, and cold sweat also covered his entire body, he wanted to run away as fast as possible, but in that state, he couldn't even move.

It was the first time he had seen a giant beast.

Loud and shrill screams rang out from the snake and the giant eagle, causing the wind to sweep the place tens of meters away. Virgo's face immediately went pale, but she still didn't dare to see what was happening.
