Chapter 40
~Ella's feelings for Brian ~
Brian cuddled the baby who had been crying for a time too long now. Ella was busy making his food in the kitchen. Suddenly the baby quietened and started sleeping once Brian stood up and paced around the room. He had been frequenting her house since the child birth and helping her out in the parenting duties. Although he wasn't happy grandma was lying helpless in the hospital, he fancied the fact that she wasn't around to stop him from visiting Ella, better still she wasn't around the day he helped Ella put to bed.
When Ella came with the food she smiled at her baby who was in Brian's arms, sleeping innocently and effortlessly. She dropped the food on the table, collected the baby from Brian and about to lay him in his bed, he shook his legs and started off with a dull cry.
