"You know when I am with you, and your father has not kicked me out yet, I always watch as your brother glares at you as if he could give everything to get you out of the way," Zane said to her.
"Really?" Judy mumbled absentmindedly.
"And then other times, he stares at you with adoration." Zane continued.
"That is a funny thing to say," Judy mumbled again, her mind was in turmoil, and she was long gone.
They stayed silent and then Zane said, "You know Lawrence threatened me when I came back, he told me if I hurt you again, he will kill me, slow and sweet. "
"What?" Judy asked, hearing Lawrence's name bringing her back.
"No one will ever understand your family, Judy," Zane said.
