At The Ryder Pack, Judy stretched and her smile brightened the room. She knew it was time to leave her bed, but she couldn't bring herself. It was a good morning for her.
After arriving from the forest, she found her mate waiting for her with a sad face. And the sad face turned into a goofy one when Judy assured him that she was not angry that he ran away. Judy smiled when she remembered her brother pulling her into a hug and whispering to her that she should never scare her like that.
They had arrived, it seemed like they passed each other. Judy didn't care when her brother told her that their father wanted to speak with her. She felt lucky that she had her mate, her brother, and somewhat a friend on her side.
She opened her eyes lazily and an involuntarily moan escaped her when she felt something hard poke her back.
"Mate." Her mate growled.
"Zane," Judy said.
