The silence was killing Sheryl, Gal on the other hand saw it as a walk in the park. She could walk with the woman for the whole night, and the next day without talking and she couldn't care less.
Sheryl kept stealing glances at Gal, she wished she could hear what was going on inside her mind. She missed Jordan whom they grew together with so fast it was a surprise to her. Yes, Jordan didn't spill all the secrets to her but at least they were not walking together in silence like ghosts.
She stole a glance again and this time around found Gal looking at her, Gal asked with a blank look, "what?"
Sheryl shook her head and look ahead. Gal shrugged her shoulder and stayed silent. They continued walking and after a while, Gal couldn't take it anymore, she asked Sheryl, "let it out, whatever you want to or stop staring at me."
