It was unlike Sheryl Peters not to say what was in her mind. This made Farrell stop talking. He knew if Sheryl didn't ask him to stop talking it meant one thing, Sheryl was not listening to whatever he was telling her.
This was true, Sheryl was standing not far from Ocean Pack's packhouse and all in her mind was, "Get there. Find Jordan. Ask for forgiveness."
She removed the phone from her ears when Farrell said nothing. She looked at the screen and close her eyes when she saw the call was still ongoing. She wanted to groan but couldn't, Farrell would point out that she was rude.
"Farrell. What is it?" Sheryl asked in a calm and controlled voice. She heard Farrell scoffs, she said, "okay then, bye now."
Before she ended the call, Farrell called, "wait a minute, we need to meet, it is important."
