Sheryl didn't get what Jordan meant by the question he asked her, what did he mean by, "was she an S?"
"Jordie, are we speaking in codes now?" Sheryl asked as she rubbed her eyes.
"Are you a serpent?"
"What?" Sheryl exclaimed.
Her heart began beating erratically as she thought of that term, for all the words in the world that she loathes, snake and serpent were among them. If it was in her power she would take the name out of the dictionary or even wipe it off of the people's memories.
To say she hated it would be an understatement.
The wolf she had met earlier on had called her a traitor and even if she was not, she preferred that better than any other name. Gal Ryder had also called her that and it didn't shock her that much as she is out of words after Jordan has called her a serpent.
Did the boy get a vision of whatever Gal said she had betrayed her and he has decided to call her that?
