"Sheryl. Where is the switch." Jordan called.
Nothing!
"Couch Sheryl." He called again into the dark.
He stood and waited to hear couch Sheryl answering him and still nothing. It was not like Jordan to look for some water at night, he normally sleeps and when he woke up at night he would just straighten his hand into the corner and he would find a bottle of water.
It was Gal who would put it there. And as always Jordan would wake up the next morning and compliment his sister telling her how she was thoughtful. Gal would tell him it was not a problem.
And really it wasn't, in everything Gal had in her life, being the best mother figure to Jordan is what she had sworn to make sure that she would everything their mother did to her, and even sometimes when she is alone and thinking about her mother she would tell herself that she was the best mother Jordan would ever ask.
