Chapter 56 - Red Eyes

"Good morning," Sheryl said to the man with a fake yawn, and continued, "is it morning?" 

The rogue man looked at Sheryl as if she had lost her mind. Sheryl was smiling so broadly as if she hadn't been torturing him for the past hours.

"I am tired, are you?" Sheryl asked. The man nodded, he needed sleep. "Hey, don't you dare sleep on me. Or just sleep, and maybe you won't wake up at all." Sheryl said warningly.

The rogue looked up, even the sleep in his eyes was gone. Sheryl was crazy that morning, and the man wasn't sure if that was how she normally was or it was because she hadn't slept a wink. She had been throwing questions after questions to the man for the whole night.

Sheryl looked at the man and asked him if he was hungry, and the man nodded. The man was doing everything she asked, he was sure if Sheryl asked him his deepest fear he would surely tell her without a problem.

"Pancakes or bread?" Sheryl asked.

"Pancakes." He said weakly.
