Zero took a deep sigh before once more concentrating on his Mana Channels. Throughout the week he had worked he would take moments of rest to peer into his Core. At first, he wanted to see if his Channels looked different after they had been forcefully reinforced. However, after looking the first time, he noticed that the Black Orb connected to his Channels had grown in size. The Orb he called his Core was now at least double the size from what he remembered.
Zero stared at the chaotic mass of shadow as it raged inside of him. 'If this is indeed the source of my power, as I think it is. Then why would I need more of it? Wouldn't that simply destroy my Channels faster?' Zero had so many questions as he was lost in thought, staring. Without even realizing it, Zero's hand reached out. Refocusing on the swirling mass, and his hand that now stretched out, he understood something.
'It calls to me. As if it wants me to touch it.' Something inside Zero's mind told him that if unprepared, touching the swirling mass would have detrimental results. As he was about to drop his hand to his side, he noticed a part of the black circler storm was reaching out to his hand. Zero instantly dropped his hand, the outreaching mass dropping downward with it. Intrigued, Zero raised his hand once more, and once more the mass started to condense before slowly moving toward him.
In a quick movement, Zero pulled his hand to the left. Zero watched in astonishment as the mass in its entirety visibly shifted to the left, if only slightly. 'It's reacting to my movement or my will?' Leaving his hand raised in place, Zero mentally yanked on the mass. This time, the mass shifted to the right, only the distance was minuscule. 'Is my hand a guiding rod?' Just as he was about to start yanking the mass in every which way, he noticed something floating off in the distance.
Turning his focus onto the disconnected object that simply floated in the void that surrounded his Core, he saw that it was a Window. 'That's not right.' The Window was different, wrong in some way. Completely focusing in on the strange Window, he noticed nearly transparent white chains were wrapping around the black window. Searching for the ends of chains, Zero realized they simply faded as they got farther away from the parts that were in contact with said window until they were perfectly transparent.
A pressure slowly thrummed from both the Window, as well as the chains. 'The Window wants me to come closer, but the chains are telling me to stay away?' Without giving himself enough time to think, he reached his mental hand out and through the white chains, making contact with the black Window.

Zero was confused as no information was displayed on the latest screen. thinking nothing of it, he started to pull back from his Core when information suddenly flooded into his head. in a span of a moment, Zero suddenly understood multiple different things about his abilities, as well as his Core in general. Using his new information, Zero outstretched both of his arms, preparing himself.
Watching intently, Zero started to push his outstretched hands together while simultaneously shoving his willpower behind the action as well. Hands met invisible resistance instantly, proving his newly obtained knowledge to be true. 'Concentrate on the Core, your center of power, and engage in a battle of wills against it. Compress the mass of swirling power to leash its wildness to your command.'
Zero didn't truly understand what the directions meant, however, he figured it would make him stronger, so he didn't hesitate to start the process. Only managing to shrink the swirling mass by less than an inch, Zero pulled out of his Core, only to be met by a puddle of sweat before being assaulted by pain in his mind.

Information-When the letter of power is written on a living organism, the organism's body will be preserved for <30> seconds after its death. This Rune can only be used once on an Organism. If written onto a specific targeted area of an organism, the effective time will increase to <1> minute.

Active-Once activated, Mana/Souls will be used to personally pull power from the Host and into the Rune.
Information-Host must be in physical contact with the Rune to transfer power. Once powered, the Rune will use the transferred power until it runs out, upon which the Rune will sit dormant until power is reinserted.
