Zero stood from where he lay, deciding to head back to the Dungeon, as he had been away for quite some time when he suddenly received a Mission Window.

Zero did the mental math in his head, finding the items would at least be worth forty thousand altogether. Seeing as it was on his to-do list, Zero figured he would do it and mentally clicked yes.

Zero nodded before making his way toward the Dungeon, figuring he would give the Dungeon as much as possible before making his way over to the Highschool.
"You are alive." Zero nodded to the crystalline woman as he arrived near her building. "I am. I had to collect a couple of items before I could leave. Here." Zero reached out his hand to deposit his Souls to the Dungeon, only for it to stare at his outstretched hand before tilting her head. "It's so I can transfer the Souls. It's not one hundred thousand, however, it's not a small amount either."
The woman shook her head before motioning for him to follow her. Zero agreed and followed the woman until he was in a room in the basement of the building. Zero stood still as he stared at a pulsing stone that floated in the middle of the room. "Touch your hand to the Core and will the Soul's to be transferred." The woman calling it the Core confirmed what he already knew. Without delay, Zero walked forwards before touching his hand to the Core, a Window appearing as he did.
-Notice-
Dungeon Core already owned. Unable to claim Core until the current owner is disconnected.
Zero pushed the Window aside as he willed forty-five thousand Souls to be transferred to the Core.
-Notice-
<45000> Souls Taken. Host currently has <3237> Souls.
Zero retracted his hand before turning and walking out of the building towards the Highschool. he stopped before turning his head towards the crystal woman that followed him out. "I will be gone for multiple days. You should be done claiming your area before I return. Don't die." Zero left it at that before turning and heading off.
Zero didn't find much resistance as he made his way toward the school, confused by the lack of enemies as he had been sure the Qwulvis had been killing everything around their area. "SHRIEK!" Zero quickened his pace as the sound came from the direction of the school. Zero arrived to find all hell breaking loose. Eyes drifting to the creatures in the sky that were rapidly swooping down to attack two figures on the roof, Zero noticed that visible sound waves were steadily flowing from the one on the left.
'A sonic attack?' Zero decided to watch instead of help, not wanting to startle the high school inhabitants into hostility. As he watched, he noticed individuals evenly placed around the school. Sitting on the building he had previously sat on during the swarm of Qwulvis' attack, he realized what was going on. 'The waves are a lure. They are luring prey towards their guarded area.' He would have thought it smart if he didn't think there were stronger creatures that they couldn't hope to fight in the city.
The second thing Zero realized was that the figure next to the man that was taunting was the red-headed girl he had seen in his previous life. The whole thing took an hour to finish by his timeclocks count. Deciding he was safe to make his way toward the school, he climbed down. "STOP WHERE YOU ARE!" Zero had made his way to stand 200 feet away from the people surrounding the school, to which he was welcomed by a man with a spear.
Zero raised his hands so he looked unarmed, though he knew abilities made the gesture obsolete. "I saw you were a group. I have come to join." The man holding the spear scoffed, never moving closer. Never taking his eyes off Zero, the man shouted to the figure beside him. "Lucy, go tell the boss someone is here." The woman who Zero now knew was named Lucy took off into the building at a dead sprint.
Zero started to drop his hands when the man shouted. "Don't move!" Zero looked at the man with an expression that said he wasn't scared in the least. "My arms hurt. I'm not going to hurt you unless you hurt me." With that statement, Zero dropped his hands to his sides. A scrambling drew his attention towards the young woman named Lucy, who was trying to return to her spot before focusing on the neon red-headed girl.
"What is it you want?" Zero wasn't bothered by the hostility, so he spoke. "I wish to join this group of survivors. that is if you are survivors." Zero spoke, making a point to look over at the man currently holding his spear up toward his chest. The woman moved to place a hand on the man's shoulder before speaking. "Enough Chad, I'll deal with it." The man seemed to hesitate for a moment before nodding, dropping his spear, and walking back into the building, Lucy on his kneels.
"And why should we allow a stranger into our group?"
