With a single raise of his hand, the Solomon King had the knights descend upon his firstborn and the Head Knight. They made a grab at the prince but he shook off their hands with a contemptible glare. His upper lip curled up into a snarl.
"I can walk on my own." Then he left with the knights in tow after he sent behind him one last withering look to the rest of his royal family. He bumped shoulders with Sam as he passed.
Now that Prince Demos and Sir Pavel had been taken into custody, there were still loose ends that needed tying.
"Please forgive us for our transgressions against you, General Kiera." King Gerrod addressed her from still atop his throne. "It never crossed my mind that my own son would betray my trust in this way."
His eyes moved from Kiera to the Beast King. Seeing as the Beast King still radiated an icy exterior, the Solomon King quickly added, his eyes darting back to Kiera.
