"Ugh I'm so bored," I thought to myself as I sat in class. "Hello, class I hope you all had a good break!" The class groaned as if they were being tortured. The teacher started to talk about random nonsense while I just stared into space. *20 minutes later* RING! the bell suddenly rang loudly and all the students raced to get out of the grueling classroom. I went outside by the fountain to meet Taro as he was reading a red smooth book. "Oh hey Ayano!" He suddenly yelled across the area. "Hey, Taro-Kun" I replied softly. We started to talk about our upcoming project about the Battle of Fei River. A few minutes passed and it was finally time to head home. "Bye Ayano! see you tomorrow." I started to make my way back home and I noticed a black corvette pulled up in my driveway, I pulled out my pepper spray and prepared myself for what was in my house. I quietly opened my door and snuck in. I saw a faint shadow in my kitchen. I quietly walked up to the person and the person suddenly turned around. I sprayed my can but missed by an inch. "Hey sweetie calm down it's me!" I looked up and I saw a long blacked hair woman standing in front of me. I then realized that this woman wasn't just any woman this was my mother! "Mom?" "Yes sweetie your father had to stay for a few more weeks but I managed to get off early." She said warmly. I looked at her happily. "Do you want some Sashimi it's your favorite!" My mom said happily. "Oh sure," I replied plainly. Ryoba went into the kitchen and grabbed the ingredients. "Oh, I see you went to the market," Ryoba said impressed. "Yes, I did." "So how have you been these past few months?" My mom said a little bit more intimidating. "U-uh everything was fine, I had no problems,'' I said in a cautious tone. "That's nice." She continued stirring the food. "Oh Hunny can you cut up the fish, I'm afraid I can't leave the food without stirring!" I grabbed a knife and started to cut the fish making sure not to make eye contact with my mother. After a few minutes we were finally done with the food and we sat down. "This looks delicious! I think we did a very nice job. Ryoba smiled warmly. We started to eat. *15 minutes later* We got done with the food and went to wash the dishes. "Ayano how are you doing in school?" Ryoba said coldly. This made my heart drop. "I-it has been fine mother." I looked down at the white a red plate I was washing nervously. "Oh that's nice," My mother replied in a less threatening tone. We got done washing the dishes. "Well, eomma (mom) I have to excuse myself." "Ok, sweetie have a nice night!" I ran upstairs trying to hold back sweat. "Please tell me she doesn't know!" I said to myself silently. I got into my jamos (Pjs) and went to bed trying to forget what happened earlier.
