Inside the forest, Katsuo continued to walk while carefully looking around, taking care not to receive a sneak attack from behind.

As I continued to walk, I heard the brief sound of a branch breaking behind me.
At the same moment, I unsheathed my sword and turned to the sound.
Behind me was a Wolf slowly walking towards me while growling and baring his teeth.

And then the wolf started running towards me and eventually jumped at me
But before he could get much closer, I drove my sword through his head, killing him at the same time.

The wolf slowly disintegrated as it fell to the ground along with its blood that was on the sword and the ground in a small white cloud that quickly disappeared from my sight. And then a screen appeared in front of me

I quickly closed the screen to avoid any kind of imminent distraction.
Soon a great howl was made behind my back. When I looked back, there was one more Wolf
(My plan to try to attack them without them making a noise is over, their howl may have caught the attention of other wolves nearby. I need to kill him and then retreat)
And then I advanced towards the wolf, the wolf did the same as me and advanced towards me
Getting close enough, I attacked the wolf first with a slashing attack to its head.
And at the same moment after the attack I took a small jump back, and when I saw that the wolf was still alive with its health bar almost at the death limit, I quickly turned around and started to back away.

As I ran, several howls of wolves began to ripple through the forest.
Until a few seconds later I started to hear several footsteps behind my back.

Soon a wolf came out of a bush to my right with a leap towards me. Not having much of a chance to dodge, I quickly tried to kill the wolf with a strike to its belly.
Luckily, I managed to hit him. However, because of his surprise attack, I almost tripped over a tree root that was too exposed, causing me to lose some balance and speed.
And then with that a wolf jumped on my back with great force and knocked me to the ground making me drop my sword.
(Damn it!)
Without much choice I quickly got to my feet and turned to the wolf that was lying on the ground and started to quickly back away from him until I managed to grab my sword.
The Wolf got up and started howling at me again.
By then I was close enough to my sword. Right after howling, the wolf ran towards me and jumped
But before it could bite me, I managed to reach for my sword and tried to roll to the side right after I grabbed it.
The wolf missed its jumping attack and started running towards me and eventually jumped towards me again.
Because of the poorly executed jump I didn't have time to get up quickly before the wolf was already flying towards me.
so I quickly pointed my sword at him in hopes of using the wolf's speed as a counterattack.
Luckily, I managed to hit him with a piercing attack right in the mouth that went straight through his head. killing him instantly
The wolf slowly started to dissipate into a white cloud and then a screen appeared in front of me.

I quickly closed the screen and looked at my life that was almost half over.
(damn that wolf caught me off guard in a sticky situation)
And then, after hearing another howl, I quickly opened my inventory and took out the health recovery potion.
Soon, a glass bottle with a red liquid appeared in my hand, I quickly took the cork that was closing the bottle and took the potion.
And several wolves appeared from the forest walking towards me. I was clearly surrounded by at least 7 wolves who were growling and baring their teeth at me.
(The situation is getting out of hand, but I can't run away, not now)
I still have a secret letter none of them will wait for it, I just need to wait for the right time to do it and the victory is mine
and then all the wolves that were around me started running towards me

And I started to activate the skill

The wolves started running around me in circles as if they were trying to distract me.

The wolves stopped running around me and were now coming towards me quickly.

Some of the wolves jumped towards me while the others continued to run.

Lifting my hand up, a small ball of light was created. Shortly after that the ball of light exploded into a great beam of light that lit up everything around it and also the wolves, who were blinded and lost their balance, falling to the ground beside me as they writhed in pain.

I took advantage of the moment and quickly ran up to the wolves and started killing them one by one.
(I need to be quick, they can regain their sight anytime)
On a wolf that was right at my feet, I quickly plunged my sword into its belly and ran straight to the one nearby and sank my sword into its head.
(6 wolves are gone in total, now these 7 wolves are missing)
After killing another third wolf of the seven with a penetrating attack to the head, I ran straight to one that was near a tree and killed it quickly.
After so much running and attacking, it was difficult to keep my breathing normal any longer, it was clearly visible that I was tired and I was breathing deeply trying to catch my breath.

Unfortunately for me, the blindness seemed to end shortly after I finished killing the fourth wolf. The other two started to get up with a bit of difficulty and they seemed to still be under the influence of the Holy Light, which made it difficult for them to see.
And then one of them ran towards me and a few seconds later the other did the same.
I stayed in the same place just waiting for them

One of the wolves continued to run and didn't try to jump. With that I made a quick attack that pierced his body

The other wolf took the moment it took me to grab the wolf's sword and jumped on top of me.
But this time I couldn't dodge and the wolf managed to hit me, knocking me to the ground and trying to bite me in the neck.
But before I could do that, I used my arm to try to avoid being bitten and quickly grabbed my sword and drove it through his head.
The wolf stopped biting my arm and turned into a small white cloud

On the outside I looked calm, but on the inside...

I had a bleed debuff that was causing my arm to hurt more than usual
I opened my inventory with the other hand and took out a potion, then drank it quickly.
And then my arm started to regenerate quickly along with my health bar that hadn't even reached half with that bite.
Being a little better I took my sword, got up off the ground and started looking for another wolf.
(My mission is not over yet, missing that other wolf that survived my attack)
Unexpectedly I saw that same wolf passing in front of me without noticing me with his head all disfigured and with extreme difficulty walking and seeing where he was going.
Eventually, he fell to the ground and stopped moving, and quickly dissipated in a white cloud.
And a screen appeared in front of me with the wolf items, and after a few seconds another screen appeared.

I closed both screens and opened my map and started walking away from the forest towards the city.
