Time passed and the same thing happened yesterday, people and players went up the stairs and soon after the establishment attendants.
At the end of it all, Miura and I took two missions this time.
One being to kill the Dark Spirits and the other the Fallen Knights.
Outside the guild, we were heading to a place Miura said he would.
"Man, trust me, it won't be long" (Miura)
"We may have several hours to do this quest, but try not to take too long, it may take longer than expected to find that ring you talked about" (Katsuo)
"So you trust me?" (Miura)
"Yes, I trust" (Katsuo)
"Yay, I promise it won't be long" (Miura)
"Sigh..." (Katsuo)
We continued walking until we reached a store. Just by looking I could be sure that this place was a blacksmith, I even wondered what he wanted to do in a blacksmith but I left that aside because soon I would have my answer
Miura opened the door and entered first. I went right after him
We entered the store and a bell rang, so the first thing I saw were armor and swords placed on shelves attached to the wall, some were quite sharp just looking at them. It was also possible to hear a brief sound of something being hammered in the back of the room.
And a brief voice was heard there
"Wait a minute, I'm almost done here!"

"While he doesn't come back I'll take a look at the equipment. I think I need to change my main weapon"(Katsuo)
"Okay, I hope you find your weapon" (Miura)
Miura went to the blacksmith's counter while I went to those swords that were on the wall.
Each of them had a different shape with a different glow that reflected in the sunlight.
They all caught a lot of attention and were pretty cheap when I looked at their prices, but I don't feel like it's time to buy another sword.
I got this sword at the beginning of my journey in this game, so far I have it because it's something I got used to using quickly
It might not be strong, but I'll find a way out of any trouble
And then, a very sweaty man appeared from the back and started walking towards the counter where Miura was.
"Hello, did you come for the arrows?"
"Yes, that's right" (Miura)
"Okay, wait a minute"
And then he went to the back and in a few seconds he came back holding a handful of arrows in his hand and placed them on the table.
"Here are the 25 iron arrows you asked for, they all give a total of 50 silver coins"

Miura, placed a bag of coins on the table and then took the arrows. That disappeared the moment he touched them
"Wow! Is this some sort of storage magic by any chance? I've never seen anyone do that"
Miura then looked at his hand and then at the blacksmith
"It can be said that yes, few people know how to do this, it is very rare and difficult to learn" (Miura)
"Amazing, you have a great talent"

Me and Miura left the store and walked through town to the gates. After a while, Miura and I left the capital and started walking towards the Lost Forest

In a dark and gloomy forest, the heavy fog prevented anyone from observing anything in the distance.
For a brief moment... the strong silence perpetuated in that environment
Gradually, various sounds could be heard in the distance.
These sounds seemed to be... Swords
Just listening, it was clear that this was a struggle.
And then the sounds stopped and a few seconds later a short voice was heard
"Light!"
And a great glow arose within that mist
"Quick, run. Run!"
Soon footsteps began to be heard.
Higher and higher.
Until Katsuo and Miura run.
And in a short time, several people with the same armor ran by.
Holding shields and swords heading towards the two
"Damn... I shouldn't have suggested coming to this place" (Katsuo)
"It's too late to regret it now, but so far it's been very interesting" (Miura)

Miura raised the bow and pulled the string with the arrow positioned to shoot.

And then, a person wearing armor in which it was not possible to see his face appeared in front of the two.

Miura soon released the string of his bow, shooting the arrow towards that monster.
The arrow however was made of wood, not being able to pass through that helmet that the monster wore.
Instead it just stunned him for a few seconds

Then Katsuo ran and attacked the Fallen Knight with a blow to his head.
Cut it down and then take down the Fallen Knight
"Pay more attention next time!" (Katsuo)

They continued to run through the lost forest while killing the Fallen Knights on the way until they found a trail that on the way had some wagons overturned and destroyed.
Katsuo ignored this however, Miura looked at the wagon as he ran.
And he just noticed a little glow inside one of the wagons
But the moment he was, he couldn't see what it was.
"Katsuo, wait!" (Miura)
And then he stopped running
And almost at the same moment, Katsuo stopped running as well.
"We don't have time to waste. Let's go!" (Katsuo)
"I think I found that ring" (Miura)
Katsuo's eyes widened.
"What!" (Katsuo)
Miura then turned around and ran towards the destroyed wagon.
"Surely it must be that ring of the story I told you" (Miura)
In that situation that at any moment would become desperate Katsuo looked at Miura again
"Alright. But first let's clean this area, there are a lot of them coming here and it won't be easy to deal with it alone" (Katsuo)
"Thanks man. They are many, however, they are not strong like us" (Miura)
Miura then took an arrow and started holding it as a weapon.

Soon a brief roar came from within the forest

Katsuo lowered his sword and raised it close to his chest.

Soon a body fully clad in armor, where only its face could be seen, came out of the forest.
His face looked like it had been completely sucked in as his eyes glowed yellow.

And then he started running towards Katsuo
And he slowly closed his eyes
(I wish I had a song as inspiration...)
Soon Katsuo advanced on the Fallen Knight and plunged his sword into his belly.
"Grr!"
And then he pulled her with all his might. Opening a big hole in Fallen Knight
The Fallen Knight then fell to the ground, dropping his sword and shield.
Katsuo opened his eyes again and picked up the sword from the ground.
And he held it with his blade up
The swords were nearly equal in size, Katsuo didn't seem to have much trouble handling each one.
A monster's blood was trapped in his face as his sword spilled drops of blood onto the ground.
And for a brief moment the silence was perpetuated in that place
But soon that silence was broken when the sound of a grunt was heard.
"Miura, use your other arrows" (Katsuo)
"Understood
And then...
Fallen Knight started to appear running towards Katsuo
But he stood still as they ran towards him
As soon as they came out of the forest, Katsuo started advancing on them one by one.
Catching the first with a mouth piercing attack
And dodging the other one who tried to cut him straight away
"I cover you!" (Miura)
Miura, who was on top of a wagon. Shot an arrow into the head of another nearby Fallen Knight that Katsuo didn't notice.
The same Fallen Knight tried again to attack Katsuo
But before he could do anything, Katsuo cut off his head.
Even the Fallen Knight wearing a helmet, Katsuo managed to cut off his head without any problems.
The monster soon fell to the ground. Dead...
He immediately ran to another monster that came out of the forest.
But he soon blocked her attack with his "new" sword.
And then pierced his belly with his other sword
"Ghu"
The Fallen Knight dropped his sword, falling to the ground and getting stuck there.
With a bit of fang, Katsuo used his foot to pull that Knight from his sword.
He almost at the same time used his new sword and threw it towards a monster that was coming out of the forest. The sword plunged into his chest and knocked him down with the force of the impact.
Katsuo started looking for anything that might be useful.
But soon decided to pick up a sword that was on the ground.
Soon three Fallen Knights started running towards Katsuo.
Miura managed to kill one of them with his iron arrow
The remaining two tried to attack him in different ways.
"...." (Katsuo)
One with a penetrating attack to the head and the other just a blow to the chest.
Katsuo then blocked both attacks and kicked one of them and quickly killed the other.
Using his sword and penetrating his belly three times and then kicking him away
Miura took advantage of the moment and killed the Fallen Knight who was on the ground.
Katsuo again advanced on the Fallen Knights who came out of the forest.
And he went on... And went on... And went on... Killing more and more brutally those Fallen Knights
Miura, who continued to cover him, began to sketch a face slightly worried about all this.
"(There are many, I don't know if we will be able to kill them all)"(Miura)
And then for a brief moment he looked at Katsuo who remained silent until now.

Miura then drew his bow and shot another arrow.
This hit the head of a Fallen Knight who was trying to attack Katsuo from behind.
After a while. We finally got to clear that gigantic order from Fallen Knight's
We even completed one of the Quests we needed

But their bodies hadn't disappeared since the first of them was killed.
It seems to be getting more and more realistic as I also feel more tired than usual.
And so we took this time we had and started looking for items in them.
It took quite a while, as some of them contained some valuable things, but the others didn't have anything that valuable, they were probably looted earlier.
Finally, we left them as they were and went to search the wagons for the ring Miura said.
After all... This was the secondary objective and also one of the reasons for us to come here.
Looking inside the wagon, we found several people. All of them...dead...
And in one of the Wagons was a man and a woman. The clothes that still remained on their bodies looked like they belonged to some royalty.
And... Unfortunately there was no ring there, just an old and worn necklace that was around that woman's neck.
It was even strange how It managed to emit a glow that caught Miura's attention so much.
However, we decided to take anything we found, including that necklace that Miura had.
But he always looked sad when he looked at that necklace

I didn't want his uncertainty about this ring existing to affect him. So I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder
And Miura looked at me out of the corner of his eye
"Don't worry, we'll find this ring soon" (Katsuo)
He then turned around again while smiling
But then he walked away from me

And he turned to me, with that usual face
"Of course we're going to find that ring! Whatever it takes! Hahahahah!" (Miura)
Seeing that he soon recovered, I couldn't resist so I smiled at him.
"You can bet that yes, nothing so far has gone unnoticed by us!" (Katsuo)

We looked like two idiots talking loudly amidst many bodies of dead monsters in a scary environment.
After that we decided to leave that place and then replan our search for that ring.
Staying in a place like this without even knowing what we're doing could be a big mistake in the future.
Possibly this may take a while, maybe 1 week or less
But... As Miura said, that ring has something special. So let's not give up so easily.
After a while we left that forest
The environment between a green lawn in a bright sun and a place where fog and monsters await you are very different things.
It was still daylight so we could do some more Quests

Arriving back in town we went to the Guild and sold everything we could find.

In the end we got our post item and Quest money and then we decided to do something to clean our clothes.
People were already staring at us with eyes of doubt about what we did.
I would also be scared if I saw a guy with blood all over his body walking down the street
And the best idea we had was to go to a lake and then wash our armor and clothes.
It was quite easy, it didn't contain as much blood as we expected it to have and it was quite easy to remove.
We stopped by the potion shop and restocked.
And then in the middle of the street in normal clothes.
"Tomorrow at the guild, don't be late"(Katsuo)

"That ring will be ours and you will see"(Katsuo)
