"Uhhh..." Awakening from my sleep, what greeted me was a headache so painfully it felt like my skull was being peeled off. It came and went quickly though, as I try to open my eyes with grogginess evident on my face.
As I opened my eyes, I hurriedly covered them while squinting them due to the unexpected brightness of my surroundings. After a while I could finally see properly.
'Damn, my head is spinning' I could barely think properly for about four minutes before finally getting my head straight. The first thing I did was to look at my arms.
Holding my arms Infront of my face, I realized that I seemed to have become lighter in complexion, and standing up I realized that there seemed to be extra weight on my back, which I found weird.
I looked back to see what it was, but was only able to see something pitch black in the middle of my back. I hurriedly placed my hands behind me trying to find out If I had a tail, and it seems I was worried for nothing as there was nothing at the end of my spine.
"Jesus Christ, I would have to cut that off if it were there", I was momentarily surprised I could speak but that thought was soon left behind as I. quickly checked my body.
I was in my birthday suit, which I was expecting, my body seems to be exactly the same as in my past life, toned abs and muscles all around that were moderate, as I practiced calisthenics throughout the years, my little brother was present, which was a relief.
Now, looking at the surroundings, he realized that he was in a tropical forest, the sounds of birds tweeting and the wind passing through the trees every so often reached his ears. was nature that was untamed.
"This is quite beautiful". Although he's never been somewhere of pure untampered nature, and he thinks this was quite nice, he had things to do.
One of this things involved the blinking mailbox sign that was in the top left corner of his vision.
After focusing on the mail sign a white screen popped up in front of him. It had small mail simbols all around that made it look quite bland, but he only cared for the words spelled out in front of him

Anansi took few minutes to analyze this information before looking towards the other two icons in the corner of his vision. He thought about closing the message and it disappeared, the icon in the corner of his vision disappeared as well leaving him confused for a few seconds.
After thinking about it he came to the conclusion that it was only there for the message he received.
On to the other two icons, the first one was a brown parchment with rigidly straight sides with random scribbles and a feather at the end of one of the lines. I looked a lot like a status page so he thought of opening it and a screen popped up in front of him..
