"What do you mean teaching me to fight properly?" Alvis asked with a questionable tone.
(Honestly this is perfect timing), but his thought is the opposite.
"Training is training, enough chit-chat. And go pick your weapon."
After that Alvis went to pick a weapon, he thought of the earlier long sword. However he chose to pick a medium length sword, since it fit his body size. Why not other weapons? Because it is not cool enough!! Axe? Looks like a barbarian, shield and sword? Hell no it for tanks, bows? Too normal, spear? It looks hard to learn. Sword is just cooler, and simpler.
"Alvis, do you know what is most important when it comes to fighting?"
"Strength?"
"No."
"Speed?"
"No, it's style and basic technique."
"Why?"
"Because technique closes off your weak point and is able to properly draw out your strength. And by combining it with style it makes you an unpredictable opponent, doing things that are unexpected for your opponent." Mason goes off explaining his reasoning to him. "Ah I forgot to mention experience."
"And since you are going to use a sword I will be teaching you how to use a sword. So for this month you are having me as your combat partner. Also you are not allow to use your magic ability"
"Ok father."
Alvis followed his words and swung his sword towards bare-handed Mason.
Few seconds later Alvis' sword was knocked away by Mason's hand. Alvis can feel the strength coming from Mason's hand, enough to make Alvis arm to shake.
"What are you doing! Go pick up your sword and do it again."

30 minutes later.
"Use your waist more!"
"Where did your strength go!"
"You're swinging your sword too wide!"

7:30 AM
Alvis was lying dead on the ground tired of getting beat up, and out of stamina.
"That's it for today."
"From now on, Wake up at 5:30 AM, and do all the work out I have made for you." Mason handed Alvis a piece of paper.
10 km run
100 push up
100 sit up
100 squat
"..."
(What the duck?! Are you trying to make me bald or something?)
(And which parent in the world let their kids wake up at 5:30 AM)
(I demand sleep!! I need to grow!!)
After that Mason left the training yard.
Alvis wanted to check if there was any change in his status.

8:00 AM
Alvis was very tired from the morning training he had with Mason, so much so that it affected his work today.
Currently in the study room.
A young girl's voice called out, "Alvis."
(I'm so tired I wanna sleep.)
"Alvis." There was a slight raise of voice coming from the young girl.
Alvis snapped out of his thought, "Sorry for my rudeness my lady, is there anything I can do for you?"
The young girl was none other than Charlotte Isbert. Ever since yesterday's information dump, Alvis was able to understand that the Isbert family is very important.
In Magenology there are class ranks for the society it lives in. At the very top there is the Royal Family; they are the king and the most important people who rules the country
In the second top is the First Class nobles; they are the ruler of the country's most trustworthy assistant. They are in charge of the land outside of the city where the people live, and when invaders appear at the border they are the one who is the most informed and sent information to the city. They are allowed to build their own army since they are near the border. There are only 4 of them
The third top are the Second Class nobles who are in charge of the affair and the defense system of the main city. They can also build their own army but the amount is smaller than the First Class noble. And their army must contribute fully to the country.
The fourth top are Third Class nobles who are more towards fame. Like famous merchants, researchers, etc.
And at the bottom are the citizens which are commonors and servants.
First Class Isbert is in charge of the east which is near the Neutral Country. Because of this information Alvis can easily tell that Charlotte Isbert is someone important.
Right now Charlotte is the only child she might be the successor of the Isbert house. And in Magenology as long as you are talented you will succeed, gender doesn't matter.
"Can you make a cup of tea for me?"
"Of course." Alvis left the study room and went to the kitchen in the mansion.
From Alvis back Charlotte was silently staring at Alvis, there was a curious gaze coming from her eyes.

9:00 PM
Alvis is back in his room after he finished his job. Even though he has to wake up tomorrow at 5:30 AM tomorrow he is still eager to play around with his magic abilities.
After a whole day it is natural that his mana is fully recovered.
And with his newly developed logic, 'The more mana I use, the more the capacity.'
So Alvis created another long sword. And he's dead.
(God this feeling is disgusting.)
Alvis physical exhaustion from morning, and now the mental exhaustion for emptying his mana. Causing him to feel more sleepy than usual, a few seconds later he began to fall asleep.
(This is more effective than sleeping pill)
Those were his last words.
