Commander Herald stood in the forefront he was on top of his war wild beast companion that was given to him by a tamer. The Jadeite Empire have has four rare beast tamer, to be able to have four of such rare occupation shows how powerful the Jadeite empire is.
At the opposite side of the Jadeite Army stood a massive numbers of the Prire Kingdom army. At the forefront stood their commander who was on top of his war beast as well. The Prire Kingdom has one beast tamer as well.
The Prire army commander has an arrogant, noble expression. He was a sword master just like Commander Herald, but his sword is more on the refined and elegant side while Commander Herald sword was more brusque but also elegant.
"Ah…. Its great meeting you Young commander Herald, please give me some pointers when we exchange blows"
The Prire Commander mockingly gave a fist salute his joking tone and his smiling face receives a cold look from Herald. He does not respond but pull out his sword straight out from his sheath, Herald open his mouth, not to respond the enemy commander joking request but a command towards the Jadeite Empire.
"For the Jadeite Empire!! Show the strength of an Empire"
Herald shouts while charging straight to the Prire Commander. The endless soldiers echoed his shout while striving straight towards the army.
"Ahh~ going straight to it-…"
He does not continue as he was blocking Commander Herald sword that was aiming to take his life.
Both of them started raising their incomplete aura while parrying.
"I have always wanted to have a fight with you since the time we used to attend Jadeite Academy"
The Prire commander comment while fighting.
Herald does not answer as he had never known such a person exist.
The cold and uncaring look on Herald seems to triggered the prire commander as his eyes flash with anger, it was that kind of look that he despise, the look that seems to say that everyone is beneath him, an ant that does not need giving a bit worth of attention. The anger however was gone as if it never was there in the first place.
A clash of sword and spears as well as various weapons rang through the battlefield.
Flash of heat from the fire being channeled by fire mages, various water walls and wind slash can be seen throughout the battle field.
A rain of long range fire arrow, water arrow, wind arrow and various elemental attacks was shoot out from the enemy tower boulder that was created by the earth mages.
Seeing the raining long range attacks, Collen quickly gave a command "Mages raise the shield!"
A large stone like dome was cast in the sky to act as a protective layer for the oncoming flying attack.
The stone dome blocks most of the attack.
"Mages, Attack!"
A rain of elementals arrow was also shot towards the enemy base.
The battle became more and more intense, more and more bloodied.
The mages who ran out of mana was replaced by a bunch of another mages while their companion got a quick rest they were absorbing mana stone to recharge their depleted mana.
Medical corpsmen or what it was commonly called Immunes were retrieving the heavily injured soldiers, the immunes practiced front-line treatments.
There are also white mages amidst the battle they were protected by five or six soldiers always, the white mages supply healing as well as giving them a supply of energy so that the soldiers will be at their best condition. The soldiers shift in protecting the white mages who does not have a defensive ability.
The battle was viewed by the citizens from afar. The war correspondent was filming it from afar. The mood and atmosphere was heavy and filled with worries especially from the family of the soldiers who were fighting a brutal and gruesome war. Two drone devices was hovering above the battle field that view the battlefield in 180 degree angle, one belong to the Jadeite Empire while one belong to Prire kingdom. The video from the drone device was not to be made public but for the war correspondents who will journalize its content in a book.

Amidst the battle, the blood that drenched the soil, nobody saw that the soil was absorbing the blood.

At the base of the Jadeite kingdom, there was a sudden churn in the space twisting.
The soldiers and mages who were at the base quickly notice the strange phenomenon. A large portal open on the churning space, three portal of a large size open, a thing, no, a great forces of Prire kingdom army came out of the portal.
The soldiers at the base open their eyes wide at the pouring enemies at their base.
The enemies soldier raise their weapons and goes on slaughtering as soon as they lay their foot on the base.
"Enemies barrage, soldiers! raise your weapon and fight back!"
"Don't let the enemy enter the infirmary!"
"Die!"
Collen swear at the sudden barrage of enemies.
He does not take into account that the enemies will have a teleportation mages! It was already over twice the decades that such kind of profession emerges.
Collen has an unsightly expression, he quickly gave necessary command. He stand on the high platform, he is a once in a century genius mages who can manifest not just one but the five fundamental elements, Earth, Air, Water, Fire and lightning.
Mages do not control the natural element but create an element by using mana. They are like a magician.
Marquis Venil household family was one of the few who can wield more than one type of profession, The Venil household have always procured talented mages for several decades.
Raising his hand, a flash of lightning came striking down at the enemy. Follow by a rain of fire….
The soldiers at the base could tackle on equal level at the oncoming enemy for a while but the enemies kept pouring out which is detrimental to their current situation. Not to mention, having their base attacked have struck down the soldier morale greatly.
Just then a holographic large screen was displayed by the Prire drone device that was hovering in the battlefield. The advisor of the Prire kingdom face was shown, the soldiers who were fighting were giving some of their attention while still attacking each other.
"My Prire kingdom soldiers, the enemy base have been successfully attacked, charge on, your comrades will wait for you at the enemy base with the blood of the enemies dripping down from their weapons"
After he said such a condensing word, the image on the screen shifted to the base of the Jadeite Empire who are currently being besieged by the Prire kingdom, the Jadeite empire soldiers were distracted. Even Herald concentration was shifted for a second that gave an opening that causes a great slash from the Prire commander. Herald instinctually side step which barely save his life.
"Don't look down on me too much, what will you do now? Commander Herald since your base is being attacked?"
Herald just like Collen has an unsightly expression. He came into the same conclusion that the prire kingdom happened to acquire a teleportation mages.
But Herald does not have time to think things through as he was attacked by the Prire commander.
"I have always been jealous of you and it will make me very happy when I take down the talented and famous Herald" The Prire commander gave a crazy laugh, he was excited when he thought of such beautiful scene.
Herald finally opened his mouth talking to the other person, his voice mocking "With that fake incomplete aura that was not entirely yours?"
It was so because the other person aura was very unstable. He must have used some method to raise his level.
The crazy smile stop short but soon resume its original hateful smile "So what? As long as I can defeat you, does it matter? The process and means are not important, it's the ending that matter"
"The first great war between the Jadeite Empire and the Prire Kingdom, the Jadeite Empire will lose at the command of Commander Herald, what an exciting and pleasant piece of news it will be… hehe."

There was chaos and exclamation of terror among the people who were watching the war.
Panic started to spread across the citizens, the people whose loved ones were fighting a grand war started to cry, their face grave. Mass of prayers started to occur.

Emilia who was checking the cauldron finally heaves a breath of sigh "It's finally done, then...."
Emilia eyes started to glow green.

The ground started to tremble, a minor earthquake started to spread, then, a huge tree with many tentacles like branch started to emerge from the ground.
"What the…"
"Is this the Prire bastard doing as well?"
No one knows while ten of such trees grow into a pillar like height.
