After a few minutes I heard An elder voice.
Who is that? Is someone came to the rooftop and playing a prank on us?
I opened my eyes only to see an old man in front of us. He's tall, maybe around two meters. His face is just like any other old man but his beard is so long. His outfit is quite strange, They were all clad in white robes decorated with violet embroidery and the old man stand out the most because of his height and he's holding something. what is that? A wand? No, more importantly, where are we? This place is not the rooftop, it has a ceiling and massive pillars that I'm not familiar with. The pillars have a strange designs embedded into it and the ceiling have a symbol of something like a bird, And more importantly, who are these people?
"The summoning is successful"
"The legends are really true"
"Yeah, now that the heroes are here, we will be able to defend ourselves now"
The guys who are behind the old man had started to Murmur. compared to him they are not tall and they don't have anything on their hand. They're hands is place on their chest like they were praying or something. there are so many of them, is it thirty? No, it must be more than that.
"Where are we?"
"What is this place?
"Who are you people!?"
My classmates? Why are they here? It looks like they're also here and dumbfounded on what is happening. I looked around and examine the surroundings. Thankfully Akari is safe, She's behind me. I turned around and lift her up from the ground.
"Akari wake up!"
I tap her face to wake her up
"Hmm.. Miyuki kun, what is it?" She opened her eyes and said. She seems fine so i lift her up more to stand
"Can you stand?"
"Yea-ah, thanks, where are we Miyuki kun?"
"I still don't know, for now we have to know our situation."
"Now then, I am certain you all must be feeling very confused about the situation you've found yourselves in. I shall explain everything, starting from the beginning. All I ask is that you hear me out until the end"
The old man step forward and said.
"Welcome to Nyutoraru, brave heroes. It is our pleasure to welcome you here. I am the pope of the Holy Church, Shiotori Asuke. It is an honor to make your acquaintances. Let me briefly explain why all of you is here" A pope? The old man that was holding a wand is a pope huh.
He furthermore continued his speech.
"The one who summoned all of you here was all of us with the help of a lot of Mana(Magic power). We called you here to help us fight the Human king . We realized that the demi-human race was doomed to annihilation, We summoned you here in order to prevent such a disaster. You heroes are humans from a world greater than ours, and therefore carry within you strength that surpasses the humans of this world."
He paused for a bit and continued "Or at least, that was what shown in the book that the legends have passed down to us.
Regardless, I implore you all to do as What we're about to request from all of you. Please, defeat the Human king and save the demi-human race from destruction." He bowed his head and said.
" You can't possibly be serious, You're telling us to fight for you when we don't even have any reason to side along with you!" Daisuke Yamaguchi, One of the girls in our section interrupted the pope from talking.
"Yeah that's right, you can't just suddenly kidnapped us and force us to fight for you!" One of her friends, Yuki Amiga also started to confront the pope.
" Yeah! yeah! sent us back right this instant!" My classmates yelled in unison
"Miyuki kun, are we going to be alright?"
Akari looked at me worriedly and said.
"Yeah, don't worry I'll protect you if something happened to us."
"Really? Then promise me that you'll protect me."
She held out her hand and suggested a pinky promise.
I respond to her actions and did a pinky promise to her soft pinky finger.
"Hehehe, I feel relieved now" she said and smiled.
The situation is rather confusing, What did he mean by that, humans are the enemy? and what are they? Are they not a human? They called themselves a demi-humans but they look like a humans too.
"I understand your feelings, however... I am unable to return you to your world at present."
Everyone fell silent and
Shiotori's words froze everyone's blood cold.

"Calm down everyone! We won't be able to settle this through fighting!"
A good looking guy step forward in front of us and said.
"The president!"
"Yeah, it's really the president!"
The president?...
Now that if I look at him closely, it's really him, The Student Council President, Yamsuki Daisuki. So he's here too huh. Does that mean everyone in the school is here? I looked around again and only saw twenty six students, including me and Akari. So not all the students are here.
"Wh-What do you mean... you're unable!? If you called us here, you should be able to send us back, shouldn't you!?" Kasuki Yamamoto one of the hunk in the school step forward and scream loudly.
"As I stated earlier, We summoned you here using a large amount of mana. The only reason we were in this room at all was to do the ritual with the fifty strong mages of Demi-humans, and to offer up our prayers to the creator of this world. All of the mages Magic power has been depleted in the state that they cannot use magic anymore, and also the book that has been pass down to us doesn't have any information on how to return you to your own world but we'll promise to find a way. I apologize for our lack of knowledge but there must be a possibility that the human king have such a knowledge, so if you can defeat the human king, I think you can return to your own world after that .
"N-No way..."
Yuri lost her Balance as if all the strength drained out of her. The other students all started yelling as the truth of Shiotori's words sank in.
"You've gotta be kidding me? What do you mean we can't go back!?"
"You can't do this! Please, just send us back somehow!"
"A war? And what do you mean, defeat the human king, Aren't you also a human! You can't be serious! Take us the fuck back right now!"
"This can't be happening, this can't be happening, I'm just dreaming, just dreaming, Yeah I'll wake up soon.."
"Mom, Mom, Mom, help me."
All of the students fell into a panic. Akari was shaken as well but she still have a countenance expression.
I'm a bit shocked about this but, I'm still collected somehow, I don't know why but it's seems like I'm fine.
"Akari is everything okay?"
I asked Akari curiously to know what she's thinking.
"I'm fine! I know this is sudden but I'm a bit relaxed because you're here. You're going to protect me after all, just like what you did back then on the girl in the station right?" She looked at me and smiled eagerly.
Isn't she trusting me so much? It's not like I remember how I saved that girl but fortunately I managed to save her, it may be just a fluke though.
"These people were chosen and yet they're ungrateful! We should rejoice because we are the chosen ones!"
Taruki stood up amidst the panicking group of students and stomped the ground. He's one of my classmates that giving me a killer look everytime, so he's also here huh.
Yamsuki walk towards Taruki and stand beside him.
" Everyone, there's no point in complaining to Shiotori. There's nothing he can do about it now. And... And I, at least, have decided to stand and fight. These people are about to be annihilated. Knowing that, how can I possibly leave them to such a tragic fate? And besides, if we've been summoned here to save them, And they're only relying on us. Why don't we stand beside them and help them. He also said that there's a possibility to go back after defeating the human king so let's not panick and calm down."
Yamsuki yelled and managed to get everyone attention.
"And we've all gained some unbelievable powers, right? Ever since I arrived here, it's felt like I've somehow got so strong"
"Yes, that is correct. It would be safe to assume that each of you have incomparabale power. According to the legends, the human from another world have a tremendous power that exceed ours ten times."
"Alright, then we should be fine. I'm going to fight. If we save everyone and defeat the human king, then we can go home. So just you watch! I'm going to save everyone, including us!" Yamsuki clenches his fists tightly as he proclaimed his noble intentions, flashing an almost sickeningly dazzling smile at the end.
At the same time, his overwhelming charisma started taking effect. Students who were despairing a moments ago began to regain their sense of composure. They all looked at Yamsuki with wonder, as if they were staring at hope itself. Most of the female students had adoration mixed into their gaze as well.
"Heh, I knew you'd say that. Still, I'd be worried letting you go off on your own... That is why I'm coming with you." A girl step forward and stand beside Yamsuki. Amzora Shiki, is the Student Council Vice President and the closest person to Yamsuki, I think they are childhood friend.
"Amzora.."
"Looks like we have no choice right now but to fight. It pisses me off that we don't get any real say in the matter, but...but.. I'll help too."
"Matsuki..."
"I-If Matsuki-chan is going to fight, then I will too!"
"Shirasawa..."
The usual group of friends all said in harmony and decided to give their support for Yamsuki. Swept along by the flow, the rest of the students naturally all agreed to fight as well. That includes me and Akari because we have no choice but to go with the flow. Yuri was in tears as she ran between her friends, telling them to stop. However, she was ultimately powerless, completely unable to keep Yamsuki's charisma from infecting the rest of the students.
In the end, everyone agreed to help fight in the world's war between Demi humans and Humans. However, most of us probably had no idea what war was really like, and who exactly are we fighting. It is said that the Human king is the enemy but the details about this situation we're in is still vague.
I looked at the pope and see his satisfied smile. He gives of a suspicious aura that I can't seem to understand.
"I oneself belong to you called you here to give me strength and power. Celestial Path!" A door suddenly appeared in front of us when the pope finished his chant. That was an unusual door, it's glowing and emitting an amber aura
"Everyone entered this Sacred door. It will lead us to the king. The king will explain us the condition of our world and He's the one who will provide you the knowledge and necessities and of course the reward!"
The Mages had started to guide us and help us enter the door.
