I woke up and glances at the window, only to find that the sun had already set long ago.
Akari is sleeping peacefully in a chair while her head is on my hand.
I removed my hand from her and I get up from the bed. Looks like it's a good time to explore.
The place is so quiet and seems so peaceful, is this place really at threat of they so called
Human king? I head at the door and opened it, I'm surprise on what I saw, The place where I was sleeping mere moments ago was actually in the place where everything is shining. The hallway is glowing and it's quite amazing compared to my room. I'm seeing some ornaments and Crystals. I looked at the Statue that was standing in the door next to the room where I was and saw its parts glowing, a full metal armor soldier attire?--or may be a knight shining armor?
I was enthralled and amaze on what I'm seeing right now because it resembles the one I draw before. I'm someone who actually likes to draw anime.
Get a hold of yourself Miyuki, don't be captivated to that, you have something you need to do. I removed my gaze from it, And started walking.
I have a plan tonight, I plan to sneak at the library and Learn something about this world. I don't plan to believe what the Pope is saying. He seems suspicious so I decided that I will try to investigate something, I feel like I need to do it. I walk and pass by so many doors, that just goes without saying that this place is so big. After a few minutes of walked, I reached the stairs. I started to get down using it and I finally reached the first floor. I don't know where I can see the library or don't know if there is one, but I'm sure there is a room that has a books right? I walked and walked but I can't seem to find any place that seems like a library. Every time I open a door, it's either locked or empty. How should I find it in the first place? Sigh, should I just give up?
I'm now at the back of the building, trying to find the place that I've been looking that I don't even know if it even exist in the first place.
"Uwaaahhh!!!!! Uwahhh!! Mom! Mom, where are you!" Suddenly a child voice shook my thoughts. It got my attention so I looked where it came from, I saw a child bawling while sweeping her own tears at the corner. She seems like a nine or ten year old child. She's wearing a colored white with some blue stripes dress that extends to her knees and she has a blonde hair.
A child? What is she doing here? it's pretty late now. Shit.. she's going to bother the people who are sleeping if she continued to do it and if that happened I won't be able to sneak at the rooms any more.
"Hey, What are you doing in this place? it's pretty late now you know?"
I approached the crying child and she unexpectedly stopped crying.
"M-mom, My Mom, I got separated from her. S-she said that she's just going to the bathroom but
she didn't come back, I came looking for her and I got lost.. Sniff sniff."

"Then, why don't I accompany you and let's look for your mother, She may be looking for you now, if we walked around and look for her we may find her."

That's just one of my bullshit to calm her down. This one is just a steel that resembles the phone outer layer. I crafted it before using the [Crafting] skill. I can't think of anything decent to stop her from crying and the first one that came to my mind is this. Child or not, people tends to believe or rely on someone when they feel helpless, if you bring something to them or lied to them, if you give an impression that you're reliable, they will believe you, of course I learned it through experience.

Should I try to peek at that curse? I have a bad feeling about that, just seeing that it was a Curse there's no way that it was a good thing. I still don't know anything about this world and how stats indicate people value And more importantly, how come this child has a strong stats? It's bugging me but I guess worrying about it won't do anything, It also has nothing to do with me.

When we exited that glorious door, we reached the place where there was so many big pillars and crystal above it that looks like a chandelier, is that the place she was talking about?
"Hey, Kira, Does that place have so many big pillars?"
Kira looked at me confusedly and looked down at the ground. After a few moments, she smiled and blink, she hold her chin and she look at me again and she slowly open her mouth with her sparkling eyes.
"That's right Big bro Miyuki, that's it! I know where it is, Let's go, my mom is waiting for me! hehehe." Kira jumped cheerfully. Her dazzling big smile along with her cute face and blonde her enthralled me at the middle of the night. The moon light radiates in harmony just like what you can see in effects at the movies. She pulled my hand and walk really fast.
It looks like she finally figured it out the place.
After a few distance of walked,
We finally found ourselves standing in front of a big door,
It has an unusual design, it looks like a bird but it doesn't look like one. The edge of the door has a thorn and pointed ornaments, it looks so weird.
"So is this the place Kira? Okay let me try to open it."
I touched the door handle and was planning to pull it but before I can do that, the door have started to glow, electric current flow into my body and I was send flying several meters away. Ugh..What the hell is that door? It hurts, my back.. I just got healed earlier and now I have another injury, how pathetic, My back...ahhh!..
I crouched on the ground, and felt my back, it's painful.
"Big bro Miyuki! Are you okay?! You shouldn't have Touched it , that door has a barrier."
Kira came running towards me and kneel before me.
A barrier huh.. Isn't barrier suppose to protect something, then why did it hurt me?, shit.
"Y-you should've said that first."
"Sorry, I thought you already know it, I'll heal you so please just stay still."
Kira place her hand above me and she started saying something.
"I bestow you the power and loyalty, Give me the strength and the power to Heal, [Holly blessing Heal]."
Kira's hands has started to glow, it was light yellow, Something like fairy dust run through my body and my back pain has disappeared, along with my other scratch I received from the impact of the barrier.
That was an unusual healing ability compared to Akira's heal.
I stand and offer my hand to Kira and she gladly smiled and accepted it.

To think I would say thanks and received a help from a child, I couldn't even imagine myself to do that from my life and now I'm doing it. Since the day I came here, I have been receiving a help from others, how pathetic.

"Oh, goodness! I've been looking for you!" Suddenly a girl came running towards Kira and Hug her tightly. The girl was wearing a black dress,white apron, and a hairband or cap of some sort that looks like a uniform of a maid.
"Where have you been? You suddenly disappeared, next time you better ask me first before going out."
The girl that seems like her mother worriedly asked Kira and started scolding her vehemently.
Looks like she's fine now, I better go now, it's pretty late now and my plan to sneak at the rooms and find the library is still not making ant progress.
I turned around and have started to walk.
"Big bro Miyuki! Thank you and See you next time!"
Kira loudly said, I looked at her and saw her waving her hands and bidding me a farewell along with her beautiful smiles.
I waved back and resume my walk.
"You better sleep now Big bro Miyuki! It's pretty late now, Don't sneak at the rooms any more! If you're looking for some information about this word just ask your appraisal skill!"
Kira's word surprised me, when I looked at their direction, they're finally gone.
