Draco and Amira had moved to a long room that was connected to the armory.
The room looked to be some sort of gun range, and judging by the indicators on the floor, was around 50 meters long.
There was nothing in the room except for the many lines on the floor that marked the distance every meter.
The room itself was a flawless white color, and Draco could even see his own reflection in the floor.
Draco noticed that in front of all of the lines was a large metal table with a built-in control panel.
Walking up to the control panel, he saw that it had several different options to customize the room.
He could enter the room into a target practice mode, a melee dummy mode, and something called a 'scenario mode'.
While Draco was looking at the choices, he heard Amira's voice from behind him.
"Whenever you're in here, make sure to not choose the last option. You're not prepared enough to face anything it offers." she said.
When Draco heard that it only made him more curious about what this Scenario Mode entailed.
However, he knew Amira wouldn't say something like that without reason, so he just selected the first option.
Suddenly, Draco heard a loud series of whirring noises, and when he looked back up there were a number of targets sliding out of the floor at the 1 meter line.
These targets were all humanoid and ranged in size and shape.
Most of them were just torsos, but Draco spotted a few that had entire bodies.
Some of them were wearing armor, some civilian clothes, and some even looked to be made entirely out of metal.
Looking back at the control panel, Draco saw that there were now several options to move or cycle through the targets.
When he looked through the settings, he also saw an option for 'sound dampening', which he promptly enabled.
He didn't want to go deaf, after all.
'Damn this is cool. I've never seen something like this before, but I guess this is what you should expect from the gun range in a Saudi Arabian palace.' Draco thought as he inputted some settings into the control panel.
Instantly, one of the full body armored targets began to whir to life, and it whipped backwards to the 10 meter line.
This target seemed to be wearing some sort of riot gear, and Draco thought that it was perfect to test his new MP7 on.
Draco then pulled his MP7 out of his robes, and marveled at them for a second.
When Draco was in the armory earlier, he discovered that his robes had a special function for holding his items.
When he slid the MP7 inside the robes, the robes automatically shifted so that they would firmly hold the SMG wherever he placed it.
Draco was now holding the MP7 in his hand, and he began to take aim.
You could wield an MP7 with both hands for increased accuracy, but Draco figured he didn't need to.
He lined the head of the target up with his iron sights, and then fired.
Instantly, Draco could feel the bullets fly out of the gun at a speed faster than even he could register with his newly enhanced senses.
Not even 3 seconds later Draco's MP7 clicked empty.
The whole time he was firing, he could feel that his newfound strength allowed him to hold his gun in a way that caused little to no recoil.
Looking down the range, Draco saw the effect of this reduced recoil.
The target's visored helmet had a large smoking hole in the middle of it, and the bullet holes were a testament to Draco's accuracy.
They were so close together they had essentially turned into one large hole!
"Damn." Draco whistled as he looked at the smoking hole.
He then flicked another button on the side of the MP7, and white lights began to flash within the clip of the gun.
Draco could feel that the MP7 was vibrating, and after a full 5 seconds he felt the vibrating stop.
The MP7's ammunition had been replenished.
Draco then pressed something on the control panel, and the target slid back to the 25 meter line.
Taking aim, but this time at the chest, Draco fired.
Even though the MP7's ammo was being refilled as it fired, it still only took less than 5 seconds before the clip was empty.
This couldn't be helped, as the gun's rate of fire was simply too incredible.
However, even though the gun had run empty, Draco could tell from the flashing white light that it was still rapidly remaking ammunition.
When Draco looked back at the target, he saw that the figure's torso had a smoking hole in it that was much larger than last time.
It seems that the target's bulletproof vest did little to protect it from Draco's bullets.
Draco nodded his head when saw this, once again satisfied with his new accuracy.
'This baby definitely packs more of a punch than any MP7 I've ever shot before. Hell, I've shot rifles that are less powerful than this thing.' Draco thought as he looked at the small SMG in his hands.
Putting his MP7 back away into his robes, Draco turned to look at Amira, who was silent the entire time.
"Alright, ready to go now?" he asked her.
***
Draco and Amira were now sitting inside of her SUVs, and were heading somewhere in the outer palace.
While Draco was admiring the beautiful grounds of the palace, he heard Amira's voice to his left.
"Draco, how are you feeling? Are you acclimating to the serum properly?" she asked.
Draco thought about it for a moment, and although he still felt like his blood was running extra hot, overall, he was feeling pretty good.
"Pretty damn good. Considering I just got a new toy, and earlier in the day I became an actual superhero, I'm on cloud 9 right now."
Amira smirked when she heard this, "Hero? You might be a little more super now but there's nothing heroic about you." she said, jokingly.
Truthfully though, inside Amira was a little surprised. This was because most people usually suffered some consequences as a result of integration with Progenitor blood.
Although Draco had problems controlling his strength, that was to be expected. What surprised Amira was the fact that Draco seemed to be showing no signs of nausea.
Usually, those freshly acclimated to a pro-serum would have trouble moving, splitting headaches, and be unable to do anything more than walk.
"I guess you're right about that." Draco laughed.
Amira just shook her head then said, "Anyways, I was planning on waiting a few days to send you on a mission, but since you've acclimated so fast I suppose there's no need to wait."
Hearing this, Draco's interest was piqued, "A mission?" he asked.
Amira nodded her head solemnly, "Indeed."
Seeing the solemn look in Amira's eyes, Draco wondered what kind of mission the princess of this powerful dynasty was about to send him on.
After a moment, she continued, "I have stationed Ḥāmin in London to monitor several targets of mine. They have recently notified me that some of my targets have appeared, so I want you to go and assist them."
Draco was slightly shocked when he heard this, and he made an educated guess about what Amira was asking him to do.
However, although Draco had killed a man not even that long ago, he still didn't know if he could help Amira assassinate these 'targets'.
"So, who are these 'targets'?" Draco asked after a moment.
"Who? You must have misunderstood, the targets are not people." Amira said.
Draco became confused upon hearing this, "Uh, then what are these targets that you want me to take care of?"
Amira laughed when she heard this, "Take care of?", she shook her head, "I just need you to retrieve a few things for me."
Draco let out a breath of relief, he didn't want to have to kill anyone he didn't need to.
"Okay then, what do you need retrieved?" he asked, curious.
"It's nothing much. I just need you to visit the Luwey Vitton and Deor stores there and purchase a few items for me. They just released some new purses and bath robes and I haven't had a chance to buy them yet." she said.
When Draco heard this he was speechless.
He expected Amira to send him on some high-risk mission where he would have to risk his life to steal some priceless object, but this was the exact opposite of what he was expecting.
"Wait, isn't this just an errand?!" Draco asked.
