Chapter 3 - The prophecy.

The men and the slaves stepped in waters and a man from the ship threw a bucket at them and shouted

"Clean 'em! The captain says."

One man grabbed the bucket and filled it with the salted water and splashed them on the slaves and the green mud went away after throwing a few dozens of buckets at them.

"It burns!"

One of the slaves said as the others endured the pain.

"Heh, y'all got wound on ya..well can't help ya..we don't got any clean water hehe."

Laughingly the men said.

After they were washed off all the people aboarded the ship and everyone was happily staring at the slaves and the boy, especially the one slave that was Yin's mother.

On the deck there were dirty men cleaning the area with black water, men repairing few parts of the ship and some sparring with each other.

"Welcome to Moon's tear! slaves and the member of the crew now do what is needed Men! set the ship moving and once we are far away from the land free the slaves, those who go against command give them as a sacrifice to the ocean.

"AYE"

Every men shouted as they stopped what they were doing and started pulling ropes and pulling up the anchor .

The ship turned and large winds blew and the ship moved with a large roar of the wind.

As the ship sailed Yin's mother looked at him.

"Son.. look here..Zol! ZOL!."

The lady screamed as she screamed for Yin. The weight in his chest increased each time the woman screamed until a string in his heart broke.

It felt like time froze.

"Kill her"

Yin heard a whispering voice.

without another thought Yin turned his head swiftly towards Gray's waist where the gun was kept.

Yin ulled it out and shot her.

'Thud'

the body fell on the floor

And as the gunshot was heard every man and woman in the ship stared at the kid.

Yin had wide spread eyes staring at the woman who was his mother lying dead on the deck of the ship as the blood made a red puddle on the deep dark deck.

One of the men stepped forward and started clapping his hands and soon other men on the deck started clapping their hands except gray. Gray stood beside Yin and stared at him surprised eyes.

"Well well, it ain't of'en we see a child kill, ain't it?"

the man who first clapped said as he smiled and stared at Yin.

"Aye"

Gray said with a muffled voice and a horrified expression.

"Aye, it ain't often we see a kid kill their own mother."

Just after gray said that the clapping stopped and silence fell on the ship except the howling sails and the roaring sea.

Yin ended staring at the dead body as if he had woken up from a dream and he looked at his mother dead and the gun pointed at her. He took a step back and shouted while the gun flew from his hand and onto to deck.

Yin screamed and tripped down on the deck he crawled furthest back he could at the edge of the ship and his breathing became heavy and rough.

gray hurriedly went near Yin and grabbed his hand and walked away into the darkness of the ship.

The Captain watched it all happen and then looked at the men and slaves and then he shouted.

"WHAT ARE Y'ALL SLAVES LOOKIN' AT? GO BACK TO WORK WILL YA'?"

As the crew began to get back to work the sky roared thunder and and rain started to fall while light disappeared and darkness fell. The ship began to get unstable with the crazy going sea.

"The child of prophecy."

A man whispered and the word spread to the other men and all began to talk about it.

The captain walked towards the stairs on the deck which led to a door which he went in and slammed close.

A group of men formed and started talking about the boy.

"It has to be the child of prophecy."

A man whispered to the other and one man asked with confused expression.

"Whuz' the prophecy?"

"Do you no know?"

"Does it look like i know?"

"Well no." said a woman in the group who was a slave.

the men looked at the woman and laughed hard

"Move away lady, i will be the one to say the prophecy."

a man said.

"Well go on."

the woman said as she swung her shackled hands.

"Uhum so the prophecy goes like this-

When the moon cries blood the boy shall give loving soul to the demo-.

The chat kept going and the voices was just distinguished voices to Yin beneath the surface of the deck.

Gray descended the stairs and threw Yin on the floor when he reached the bottom. Yin rolled and hit his head and now in pain he cried.

Gray walked near him and grabbed by the his collar.

"ShhhhShhhhh...Yin do you know what you have done?"

Yin continued to cry as he slowly shook his head.

"Sigh..."

Gray let out deep sigh.

Gray gently put Yin on the ground and walked towards a corner of the place filled with barrels.

There was iron cup on those barrels. Gray filled the cup with the liquid in the barrels and gave it to Yin.

"Don't take more than a sip.It's rum"

Gray said as he handed the cup to Yin with sad look.

Yin took it with his shaking hand and took a sip.

As he took the sip he stopped crying and went to sleep.

Gray saw him sleep and took the cup of rum from his hand and gulped it all down and he sat beside Yin and covered him with the jacket that he stole from the man.

And on the deck it was busy and noisy filled with men the slaves were freed and were working with other men.
