Time went by both of them stayed in the cabin and sat opposite to each other. Yin had his wrapped his hands around his knees while opposite to him Esma laid there as he stared at weapons behind Yin.
Both of them slowly fell asleep and the storm went quiet. The ship kept on creaking and the men and slaves kept labouring.
Hours later they woke up and saw the captain was in his desk smoking ,they were kicked out of the cabin without any discussion.
The boys didn't have anything to do nor anyone asked them to for some reason.
Sometimes other than night when gray is free he would drink rum with the boys as he taught them how to play the mandolin.
Times got boring for Esma and not for Yin as he never cared what's going on, he is just living.
They would get few slices of bread and slices of meat to fill their hunger but sometimes in end of every 2-3 weeks the ship would anchor at a dock at night and would bring jewelries, gold coins, large amount of food such as large amount of loaf, meat and cheese and huge bags of tea.
The list doesn't end there.
The men would bring women on the ship and take them below the deck and throw both boys out on the surface of the deck
There would be screams and shouts of woman which Esma couldn't help but get annoyed because he was not able to sleep at night but it was different for Yin.
Luc sometimes would sleep like a log or never sleep.
Ship kept sailing from unending oceans to frozen ocean filled with large floating pieces of ice and sometimes they would go though storms that almost felt like eternity.
Sometimes Esma would take Yin to the ladders leading above the captain's cabin where there was a place in the middle was a wheel attached to a log which turned the ship when needed and the captain looks at his compass and keeps turning the wheel as he shouts the men to pull the ropes and turn the sails towards his desired direction.
Esma would enjoy watching the ship take turns and sail.
Just like that, one day the as the captain was sailing the ship with a map on a wooden table beside.
And Yin and Esma were watching him measure and bring out a long scope and see in the distance.
As he stared in a single direction he shouted
"MEN!....HOL' THE SAILS OF THE TEAR, WE HAVE GOT A TAIL UPON US AND READY THE CAN'NS."
He shouted out as a smile was shown with blood thirsty eyes.
"A TAIL UPON US READY THE CANONS!"
Shouted the man to another.
and other man shouted to the other and the word spread and all began loosening the sails and the ship slowed down.
as they slowed down a small dot appeared and the dog grew and grew and now there was a ship with white sails and tons of men with guns and swords.
The ship were now parallel to eachother.
and the other ship shot canon balls at them and everything was in chaos. one of the cannons fell just near Yin and Esma. Esma screamed in fear while luc didn't even blink.
The men on the deck were running under the ship and what was unveil was shocking for the other ship that few men jumped off the ship.
There were canons. Multiple canons that were not some ordinary canons, one cannon and three holes that were the size of five men.
The canons from the other ship wasn't stopping and kept slowly damaging the ship
"FIRE"
The captain shouted.
The fire balls burst out of the those cannons and shook the whole ship and the water below.
And a rain of fire balls started pouring on the other ship. It was total destruction for the other ship.
The sails fell, Holes were made, men were killed.
Some fell off the ship to save their lives form those monstrous fireballs.
"MEN! MAKE THE LINE."
The captain shouted as he looked at the men below shouting for mercy.
The men on the Tear made a line facing the drowning ship from the furthest side of the ship.
The captain pulled out a gun from his pocket and shot it towards the sky and all the men started running at the same time and jumped off the ship and into the red dyed waters.
The men pulled their swords under water and salted the drowning men form the other ship and tore of their their guns and clothes few killed many few barely killed any, men from the tear robbed them of their belongings not even giving them a piece of memory to take them to their death.
The killing and looting was finished as the men from the tear climbed the ship with a ladder leading to the deck. On the deck the men made a circle and put their loots in front of them. In the group of people a man had the most loot of them all.
"As the rules state!"
the captain said as he ascended to the deck.
"The one that has the most loot or valuables wins and the WINNER gets to take one object of their choice from the loots of other's loot."
The captain said as he smiled at the man with the most loot.
"Come here Boy, what's your name?"
The captain called out to the winner.
The man that should be around the age of 16 or 19 stood up and neared the captain.
He was a fit looking man. He had a wide chest and long and huge legs and was tall, his body was covered in large different muscles and barely and fat could be seen, he had dark skin and long light yellow hair(Blonde) and had a sharp jaw and eyes of brown.
The man walked towards the captain waiting outside the circle of the men.
As the man stood beside the captain, the man was a head shorter than the captain
