"Chiaki Yasuda's execution has been repositioned to La Cadena de Nar贸n, known as the Forbidden Chain tonight at 10 pm." Somebody held the newspaper in their hands. They were looking at the message with seriousness.
They read more and found more information. "Tonight at 10 pm, fleet admiral Warren announced that Yasuda Chiaki's execution will take place at La Cadena de Nar贸n. The world government's authorities explained that the foremost agents should travel there on an underwater railway where they'll keep guard. Despite receiving a warning from the world government, the 'white-haired' pirate Timothy and his unknown accomplice followed the foremost agents and broke onto the railway. They are currently moving at high speed, confronting three of the foremost agents. Because of that, the authorities needed to take action and..."
The person stopped reading and scratched their nose. "He doesn't stop getting into trouble, does he? I should've known he'd eventually figure out about Chiaki. But then again, I shouldn't leave him behind. Looks like I'll have to hurry on to the Forbidden Chain. " The person dropped the paper and instantly vanished from the rooftop by leaping high in the air, transforming into the wind.
Alpha and Naeve exchanged views, but neither seemed to start fighting yet. "So, do you all-sexy-wanna-be gonna stand there like an idiot, or do I have to watch your stupid face for the rest of the night?" questioned Alpha, holding her sword in preparation.
"Tsch," Naeve spat on the side and moved her left hand in front of her chest. "I think I'll just kill both of you." She expressed a suspicious grin and instantaneously closed her fist. Without Timothy or Alpha knowing what she planned to do, they got suddenly greeted by a portal behind them.
While Timothy couldn't detect an object behind him correctly, Alpha could. With a simple activation of her demon eye, she sensed a strange pressure that exhibited behind Timothy. "Get out of the way!" Alpha yelled and rammed her left arm into Timothy's shoulder, pushing him to the side. She used her free arm in which she held her sword and sliced it down to block the upcoming razor that intended to cut open both of them.
"Whoa! That was scary." Tim exclaimed, looking over Alpha's shoulder. "Thanks, Alpha." He finished. She looked back to match Naeve's eyes and heard her chuckling. "Interesting. You're quite skilled with your senses. And I thought this would be an easy meal for me to bite on. Looks like it'll take a bit more to kill you than only using some poking knives."
Alpha tensed her view and raised the blade in front of her nose. "Oh, I'm gonna enjoy cutting your confidence. But I don't think doing that inside a cabin is comforting." She explained, seeing Neave grinning.
Naeve couldn't help but repeatedly laugh. She climbed to the top of the cabin, followed by Alpha, who did the same. Alpha rolled on the roof and again exchanged views with her foe. Naeve stood upward, watching down at Alpha, squatting on the cabin's ceiling.
Timothy used that opportunity to jump onto the next cargo and proceed, but he knew he wouldn't reach Chiaki without problems. He continued through the three cabins and reached his next obstacle; Parth.
"Sorry, but you can't go any further, white-haired pirate. But, before I crush you, I have a warning. In the next several kilometers, we'll be approaching an underwater tunnel. So, if you're not inside, you certainly will become wet. And based on what I've learned, you don't enjoy the water." He explained but could tell that Timothy's face hadn't shown any concern.
"Oh, I've regained my strength. I won't lie, the cabin at the back was starting to worry me, but now that I'm out of it, I can fight you equally." The train continued speeding over the water, preparing to go under very soon. "I'm afraid that "equally" is not a word I'd use." Parth lifted his right arm next to his shoulder and summoned a magenta aura around his fist. "While my ability isn't the best inside a room that barely has any movable objects, I can still move *you* around like a doll."
Right off the bat, Timothy couldn't understand. "I developed a talent I termed "Psychokinesis." It's a pretty self-explanatory name, huh? If it wasn't obvious, it lets me control the environment's items with my thoughts, regardless of whether it's alive or not. I will break each of your limbs until you understand the errors you made." Timothy knew that worrying about his foe's ability was the wrong approach. So, he came to terms with battle and risked whatever he had left.
"For an agent, you exude an unusual amount of confidence. You obviously don't know everything about my ability, either. So yet, I haven't had to put it to the fullest possible usage. But I'll gladly share it with you if necessary." When Timothy shifted his arm, orange flames erupted from it. They lit up brightly, heated up, and turned blue.
Timothy didn't intend to be cautious.
The storm worsened, and the train's roof got slippery due to wetness. Both girls needed to control their balance to not slip into the ocean. If either of them fell, then they'd lose in an instant.
"Oh, this is gonna be fun." Claimed Naeve, licking her lips. The wind around them started getting heavier, followed by thunder striking in the distance. That was their cue to start.
Alpha didn't waste any more time and dashed toward Naeve. She left a strong trail of wind that swirled up into the air. She dragged her sword from behind her hip and slashed at Naeve horizontally.
Naeve smiled, slashing back with her sword. The two swords collided, letting Alpha make her next move. She slashed with her second sword upward. Naeve stepped back while using her blade to reflect Alpha's slash, bouncing her sword back.
That didn't stop Alpha. She bent forward and slipped beneath Naeve's raised arm. She moved behind her back, slashing her right sword behind without turning around her whole body.
Naeve ducked beneath Alpha's sword successfully. She touched the train's roof and summoned a portal beneath Alpha. Instantaneously a sword darted from, planning to pierce Alpha through her stomach.
Alpha noticed it in time, tilting her body to the side for the sword to speed high in the air. She slid on the slippery floor, catching her balance and spinning around.
Naeve chuckled and summoned a dagger in her left hand. She circled her feet on the ground, spinning around. She swung her arm in front of her chest, throwing it in Alpha's direction. Alpha's eye glowed with crimson red sparkles. She sliced her left sword forward, deflecting the dagger and knocking it to the side.
She bent forward and blinked toward Naeve at incredible speed. She followed by slashing diagonally, but Naeve quickly blocked Alpha's attack. Both women had their weaponry enchanted with the armory, making their collision equal in power.
But the collision was more forceful than expected. Alpha's sheer power reached a very high peak. Her blades collided with a heavy body, enough to kick up a powerful whirlwind that even blew away the rain splashes.
Naeve didn't seem scared, but she was astonished to see Alpha's sheer force. She even noticed that her left eye had been entirely different. The pupil was blood-red, while the sclera was black like the darkest night.
"What? You belong to the demon race?! Why the hell are you teaming up with pirates?!" Naeve asked. Alpha pushed further into Naeve's sword and sliced it in half. She exerted another intense wind and propelled Naeve back over the slippery roof. Naeve stopped at the edge of the cargo before she'd fall into the water but stayed amazed.
"A demon? Yeah, I sorta am, but not exactly. I'm a half-demon, but my body is humanoid. The only part of my body that is demon-like is my left eye. I don't have seven lives like demons intend to have. I just possess a demonic type of blood, but humanoid too. So to make it easier for you, refer to me as a person, or you'll lose more than your reputation."
Alpha explained, keeping serious. "Finally, to answer your question. I'm not on either side. I'm only helping Timothy because he's a friend. I don't give a crap about pirates or the world government. But I'll always support those I care about. I have no desire to care about those who don't have a good reputation. So, if you want to kill my dear friend, you'll suffer."
