Chapter 15 - CROWN PRINCE OF WRELLOVEN

A pair of golden eyes was something that no one would easily forget. Not to mention the face of the man that would look stand out among the crowds. With an appearance that was not easily overlooked, Elennora could still remember the figure he had just collided with. It was the servant who bumped into him yesterday.

The hands were still touching, and for some reason, Elennora thought that the man's warm hands were gripping his tightly. Thus, he forcefully withdrew his hands from the man's grip.

The crown was in his hands, and he glared at the owner of the brown hair.

"My apologies, Your Highness. I didn't mean to act inappropriately towards you," the man seemed to be able to read that Elennora was irritated, and he immediately apologized.

Fortunately, Elennora was not a hot-tempered person, and he would not snap at anyone who accidentally bumped into her. Thus, he simply sighed before replying, "It's fine. You have to hurry again to find your master, right? You just have to remember that you can't run around in the palace."

The reason why the two didn't fall to the ground after colliding with each other was that the man didn't run like yesterday. He was just walking normally, but because he couldn't see someone coming around the corner, he ended up bumping into the Crown Princess.

Right. It was the Crown Princess, and the man seemed to recognize the status.

"It's my bad for not congratulating you right away, Your Highness. I watched the coronation earlier, and your vows sound very cool!" The man suddenly brought up a different topic, and Elennora almost snorted at him.

"Is that so?" The pink-haired boy asked lazily. "I didn't even follow the original text of the oath, but you still think that the oath is cool?"

Of course, Elennora knew that his previous vows were different from the original text. He did it on purpose because he wanted to see his father's reaction, and his father was indeed surprised by it.

However, his father chose to nod and not ask him to repeat his vows, and perhaps the King thought that no one would pay attention to the contents of the oath.

"I don't know the original text of the oath, but I still think that you are very cool, Your Highness," the brown-haired man spoke again. "I thought everything you said was cool, especially when you said that you would become the Crown Princess for the sake of your people. That dedication is extraordinary, and I'm sure that you love your people very much."

Elennora did not expect such a response from the stranger. He thought that the young man wouldn't even care about the promise he made earlier, but it turned out that the man was focused on that part instead.

The pink-haired Crown Princess couldn't help but stare at the man, carefully studying the man's appearance.

Unlike yesterday when the man was wearing clothes that resembled rags, the man looked very charming in his clean and tidy clothes today. At a glance, Elennora could see that the clothes were made of expensive materials, and that made him wonder.

"I've heard of Wrelloven many times, but I don't think Wrelloven is too different from Grinia. I didn't expect the King of Wrelloven to even let a servant dress so gracefully like you," Elennora spoke again after finishing examining the man.

A pair of golden eyes blinked at the pinkette before the owner moved them to look at his own body. He did look perfect in his black-and-gold outfit, and the pinkette seemed to be able to see the difference.

Smiling gently, the man looked at the Crown Princess of Grinia again as he replied, "It was the Crown Prince of Wrelloven who asked me to dress like this today, Your Highness. He said that today is a special day for you, and he asked me to wear these clothes to respect you. Do you think I'm handsome, Your Highness?"

Elennora was slightly taken aback by the man's question. 'Why is he suddenly asking me what I think about his appearance?' He wondered inwardly.

The Crown Princess was confused, but he decided to ignore the man's question as he focused his attention on the word 'Crown Prince' mentioned by the man.

He had always known that Grinia and Wrelloven had a close relationship with each other. Occasionally, the King of Wrelloven would visit Grinia to discuss some matters with his father, but the Crown Prince of Wrelloven never came with the King. Elennora didn't even know the reason, and he didn't even care about it before today.

'The Crown Prince asked his servant to dress like this for me? But why?' He wondered as he looked at the man again.

The man was taller than him even if he wore a pair of high heels now. It was a shame for a boy like him to dress like a girl, but he had to do it for the sake of his people. Thankfully, he was quite petite, and it was easier for people to believe that he was a girl than a boy.

His body was in stark contrast to the man standing in front of him. The man had a broad chest and shoulders, long legs, and even sharp, manly facial features.

The sharp facial features of the man caused him to feel embarrassed when he compared them to his delicate facial features. 'I do look like a girl, and it's no wonder that my parents could lie to me for years. My face is no different from a girl.'

"Are you all right, Your Highness?" The stranger suddenly asked a question when he was lost in his thoughts, and he looked up at the taller man again.

"Your Crown Prince must be a good person, and I can't wait to meet him," Elennora finally answered, and even if it was just for pleasantries, he sounded quite sincere with his words.

Hearing the Crown Princess' answer, the man looked dumbfounded before smiling at the Crown Princess. "My Crown Prince is also looking forward to meeting you," he replied. "And my Crown Prince also ordered me to wish you a happy birthday, Your Highness."
