Cheng Wei winced in pain. "How dare you? Let go of me!"
"I did as you asked and let you stay," Yao Tang said slowly. "You said you wanted to see how I'm going to cure the old lady, not that you're going to interfere with the treatment. That's the only reason why you're still in this room. Do you understand?"
"Your so-called methods are nothing more than a hoax!" Cheng Wei blurted out. "They're groundless and unproven. Are you sure you can afford to delay the proper treatment that Grandma needs?"
Yao Tang's eyes flashed. "I already said that I will cure her." Her patience was wearing thin, and it was apparent in the way her voice had gone dangerously soft. "Never interrupt me again."
After saying that, she flung Cheng Wei's hand away. A chill went around the room as they registered the threat that hung in the air.
"How, how dare..." Cheng Wei's outrage was teetering on the edge of control at this point, but her words somehow stuck in her throat.
