Charis watched the stranger she had just yelled at get into his car and drive away with a heaviness in her chest. That man did not deserve that outburst, this is why God said not to let the sun go down on your anger, she looked up at the sky. "The sun was already down though" she mumbled to herself. There was no need to cry over split milk anyway, plus she already felt so bad yelling at that stranger she just wanted to go home.
Walking into the parking lot, she wasn't sure what to expect. It did seem like the cab was really not going to come, then how would she get home? Perhaps she should call Anne? But what would she be able to do? She didn't have a vehicle.
"God please provide me a ride, I know I shouldn't have yelled at the man but I also know I have forgiveness and if I come across him again I will make things right so please help me find a means of transport." She prayed inwardly.
"Miss Sweeney!"
Charis was shocked when she looked up and saw Sebastian walking toward her.
