Charis walked into the office with her gaze on her feet where it usually was, she wasn't amazed that the room had gotten quiet when she walked in, after all the only thing they did was gossip. She was an outcast so they gossiped about her, she had learned not to get hurt by it, it wasn't the first time, and as long as she wore her faith on her sleeve as she did it would not be the last. How long would she continue to get hurt by it? People would never change so the struggle would be up to her. She went over to her desk and sat down, nothing had happened yet. She felt listless and somewhat empty today, and Charis did. She did not understand why but there were days like that, she lived a pretty boring life so most times her days melted into one until she couldn't differentiate them. Not with Sebastian though, she had not felt that way in a long while, and she did not realize it until she was back in this office under the scornful eyes of her colleagues.
