Blue text in a white screen appears in a desolate black area. No light exists in this dark place besides the light from the white rectangle. A small white ball forms from seemingly no where before it turns to face the blue text with cloudy and confused thoughts.

'Where am I? What is this? Who am I?'

Slowly memories start to reappear within the consciousness of this white ball and it finally answers the white screen.

'Now that I'm certain I'm dead I believe it'd be fitting to have a new identity. My name is Blaise.'

Three different white screens smaller than the first one spawn in front of the white ball as it carefully reads over the description of each class.

[Mage. Mages are able to unleash powerful spells but normally have weak bodies.]

[Warrior. Warriors have strong physical bodies and usually train in a certain weapon but normally lack long distance attacks.]

[Rogue. Rogues are able to disguise themselves and sneak up on enemies for powerful attacks but normally lack direct combat strength.]

'Why isn't this interesting this is quite similar to those rpg games I would play as a kid.'

'If I'm being honest I don't like combat in particular but I also dislike not being able to defend myself. Every one of these classes have weaknesses that is another classes strength.'

'But I don't know what is going to happen once I leave this dark void. Am I going to reincarnate into another world or am I going to be thrown back into my own world. Without knowing this it's safer for my current situation to chose the class that can beat disguise me and assist me in theft in case I end up in some unknown world.'

'I chose Rogue as my class.'

Dark sludge like goo seeps from the white ball as it becomes dark black with a ghastly aura that spreads throughout the grand void.

'Incredible, I feel connected to this void of darkness now as if I myself am apart of it. Strangely I also feel a sense of loss as if a large portion of my emotions were taken from me.'

The pitch black soul sinks into the void spreading like some sort of virus. Quickly it's connection with the void becomes stronger and stronger and the soul's emotions gets effected.

'This definitely confirms it, my emotions have become far more limited. I feel much more desensitized than before, even my morality and sense of self have been affected.'

The black soul separates itself from the void wary of the dangers of loosing all emotion.

'I have lost emotions like grief and sadness in exchange for power. What a viscous system truly this is one of the most costly prices for power I have seen. I no longer feel like an actual person but more like a blank sheet of paper completely void of self.'

'But even so I feel like I can adjust to anything, as if my adaptability has increased. I no longer feel confined to myself but feel like I can be multiple people with differing thoughts and morals and still function as a human.'

The black soul is teleported out of the black void and the white window closes leaving behind a vast and empty space with nothing existing inside of it.

Grimwood Manor

A young man lays down on a fine mattress laced with gold thread. The room he's in is quite a sight, full of beautiful paintings and delicate vases. The young man himself is also something to behold with pitch black hair and large red eyes. His strong figure can be clearly seen through the thin fabric showing his toned body and muscular physique.

Outside of the room a short girl with black hair and red eyes hesitantly knocks on the door. She resembles the man in the room greatly yet is extremely afraid of him holding noticeable fear in her deep red eyes.

She shakily calls out to him and her soft and nervous voice can barely be heard through the fancy wood door.

"Big brother I need to talk to you. I know you don't like speaking to me but this is very important."

The man smiles at the familiar voice as he calmly gets up from his lavish bed before opening the door. The girl blanks out at the sight of the attractive man before attempting to calm herself down.

'Is this guy really my brother? No wonder he's one of the male leads that the MC ends up with he's insanely hot.'

This girl isn't ordinary as she is quite similar to the man in front of as they are both not from this world. Her name is Evelyn Grimwood the daughter of the duke of Grimwood.

The noble house of Grimwood is one of the most influential and powerful noble houses in the Vicia kingdom. There are only three other noble houses in the entire kingdom that compare, Featherend, Remwin, and Inse. Together these 4 noble houses have maintained control over the entire kingdom of Vicia for over 500 years.

'So this is my new sister, quite interesting that she's so bad at hiding her emotions and intentions. It's incredible luck that she managed to charm all of the male leads including myself. Though it does leave a bad taste in my mouth that this sister of mine will eventually seduce me whether intentional or not.'

The two siblings stand in front of each other without speaking for over 30 seconds before Evelyn realizes she's been staring at her "brother" with a thirsty expression for far too long.

In a panic she tries to distract herself from such an embarrassing situation by addressing what she came here for.

"I need some money to invest in a few businesses. I promise I'll pay you back and I'll even sign any contracts if necessary."

Blaise puts his hand to her forehead as he chuckles in amusement. His eyes question her with a suspicious glance frightening Evelyn.

"I heard from the maids that you've been acting differently from before. You actually ate together with father at the dining hall instead of staying in your room like you always do. Tell me, why are you acting so different."
