Maria walked around the second floor. It was filled with doors that were all locked.
"This one's locked too." Maria said as she turned the handle of the last door on the second floor.
"I guess no one's here."
Seeing that the second floor was empty, Maria decided to check the third floor. Each step she took on the stairs sent hot, burning pain through out her feet. It was hard for her to keep walking, but Maria needed to find Trevor. After a few flight of stairs, Maria reached the third floor. The third floor wasn't too spacious. It only had several doors which had restroom signs on it. Maria walked past the doors and examined them. The second floor was empty and there was no sign of Trevor on the third floor. Maria could only wonder if Jerald had tricked her. It was something she could imagine him doing.
