Moon Cha-hee, is 25 years old Korean female living in the USA. She had finally escaped from her toxic family, she has 3 older brothers and a workaholic father, they couldn't care much about her anyway since she supposedly murdered her mother.
Her mother died at childbirth, in the end, she was blamed for her death, she was teased and bullied by her brothers and she took an oath when she turned 20, that she will move out. Which she did after she turned 23, but sure enough, she got away. She would usually surround herself with web novels wishing her life was as simple as nice as them.
"As I thought," Cha-hee said in her head as she was reading a web novel at her lunch break. "I knew it, Irene poisoned Alice!" she continued to say in her head.
The web novel named "I'm Alice" is about a girl named Alice Isabella Beverly she has brown, smooth, and shiny hair like chocolate that went down to half of her back with emerald eyes.
The daughter of Count Fredrick. "She was just full-on pretty," Cha-hee mumbled to herself. She had some insecurities about her look due to her childhood. She was often compared to other little girls.
She had short black hair that was above her shoulder and dark brown eyes, Cha-hee thought she looked more than plain compared to others.
"Compared to Alice I'm nothing, just nothing no wonder she snatched the crown prince from the hands of Irene." again mumbling to herself as she bit into her sandwich.
The Crown Prince, Josiah William Alden, who had golden blond hair with deep and dark violet eyes, to summarize it, is a really good-looking guy.
As for the Villainess, well she is beautiful but her personality not so much, Irene Garcia daughter of the Grand Duke, Elijah Oliver Garcia, had beautiful long white hair that represents the snow with sparkling blue eyes like a jewel, but she ends up beheaded from one of the spoilers Cha-hee read.
She continued her deep reading into the web novel even though she already knows the ending since she read the spoilers for some dumbass reason. "I almost finished, only 5 chapters left plus with some side stories-" as Cha-hee rambled in her head until her boss called her.
"Hey! Noobie break is over!" Cha-hee's boss was not the kindest towards her, but Cha-hee couldn't blame her, her boss did have a high position to do so.
"I'm coming boss!" she yelled back. She spend her days taking orders in the café she worked till night hit.
"I wonder what I will be eating today for dinner" she whispered to herself as she happily skipped home, Cha-hee's work shift has ended after 8 hours "Jeez! I worked so hard!" she screamed proudly.
Cha-hee then closed her mouth as she realized she screamed quite loudly and looked around if anyone was near her that heard that, thankfully no one was present around her.
She was 5 minutes away from home and she just needed to cross this road. Then as she was about to walk across the road.
Cha-hee heard her phone ring. She sighed, got her phone out of her purse and looked at who called her, it was an unknown number, the same unknown number that has been calling her for about a week now.
Now Cha-hee isn't the brightest, but she isn't the dumbest, but she had not realized that she was somewhat close to the road.
"Interesting," she said, "I wonder who it could be, should I pick it up? It has been calling me for a week now" she questioned herself then she picked it up.
"Hello?" she asked, "Cha-hee, is that you?" a boy's voice came over the line, "Yes, this is she, but who are you, and why have you been calling me?" Cha-hee asked confused but curious.
"You don't know who am I?" he asked in Korean this time, silence became between the line. The girl did not know how to react. She just stood there blinking.
"It was you? I told you guys to leave me alone, I want to be at peace with my new life, not for you guys to come back into it, leave me alone..." Cha-hee responded in Korean holding tears in her eyes.
Turns out for the past weeks, one of her brothers was calling her, she doesn't even know which one. The funny thing was she can't even remember their names, she only recall calling them, "Brother 1, Brother 2, Brother 3,".
Just before she was about to hang up, "Wait, wait let me explain myself, okay? I am sorry. But father is dying on the hospital bed and he's been asking for you, he wants you to come over to grant his last wish." he said back to English, funny he knew Cha-hee was about to hang up, she thought.
"And what is that?" she asked with no slight emotions in her voice, she was quite tired of this shit.
"He wants you to come back to Korea and stay by himself till he passes...." the brother responded quietly.
She started to chuckle, pathetic, suddenly he wants her to play the role of the daughter, "PFT....this is pathetic, you want me to return to the place where I hated the most and where I never found happiness," she replied, she found this situation quite amusing.
"W-why don't you care? HE is your father!" he suddenly raised his voice.
"Hm, father never heard of it!" Cha-hee clapped back with a loud and sarcastic voice. "You insulant thing!" she heard from the background, Cha-hee had a feeling that more than one person was listening to this call.
It was most certainly, three of her brothers were present and listening to this call.
"Again, I don't care what you call me, but my answer is no, so goodbye now!" Cha-hee said excitedly. She then realized she was not even on the sidewalk, but it didn't matter, she could walk across the street now.
As she was about to walk, she heard a loud voice from the phone.
"He wants you there since you look-alike to mother!" another voice screamed. Cha-hee was shaking, she was told back then that she was ugly, but now she looks like her dead mother?
She stopped walking and started to listen, "He said he wants his lovely daughter to be with him as he passed since it will feel like both of her most precious females are there with him, his wife and his daughter." said the voice.
Before Cha-hee could even respond, she saw a bright light coming close to her. She then heard a loud beep. Suddenly her phone flew out of her hand, the phone then dropped out the ground somewhere close to her.
"Hello? Hello? Are you there, what was with that beeping noise?? Answer me!...You there little sister?"....click...click....beep.
And that's how Cha-hee died, her only thoughts during her death were her mother and what she could have eaten this night, ramen.
Moon Cha-hee's life ended with a truck flattening her.
